I don't think we've ever seen Mineta looking so fierce/badass in, well, ever. Also, if Izuku is right and this final foe ain't AFO, then who could he be then? An impostor or is he the man before he even became "AFO"? By the way, what is a burned-out Kaminari even going to do here?

Mineta looks like a demon corpse that wants to shank everything. I've never seen him look that pissed before, probably because he's usually either acting like a perverted idiot, or scared out of his mind even when he's acting brave.

You know shit's gotten real when the designated Plucky Comic Relief looks like they want to break someone's neck.

Also, as with everything involving Eri, it's up in the air as to whether this will permanently nerf her or not. This may be a way to prevent them from undoing all the injuries and tragedies that have taken place here, barring making sure Deku doesn't stay disarmed. We'll have to wait and see.

Mineta's Fucking Pissed. And I like that we're getting a Class 1A reunion here, at the end of all things. I like that Aizawa acknowledged the potential downsides of Eri breaking her horn, it's not just immediately accepted this was a normal and rational thing to do.

The final foe is Dark Might.

"Wait, who!?"

"You know, Dark Might from the new movie, out right now in your local public theater and soon to be in your favorite platform!"

"But..."

"Those things are canon. Remember Melissa?"

"But...!"

"Stay tuned for the next episode after watching You are Next! Dark Might makes his great return!"

"Oh, for (beep)'s sake!"

Looks like I was dead wrong about Deku's arms. Whoops.

I find it funny it took her this long to actually build All Might something to fight crime.

Her dad is the equivalent of Silver Age young Lex Luthor in this series.

Hah. Everyone who kept saying that Deku's arms not being destroyed during the last fight with Shiggy are now thinking NOT THIS WAY! NOT THIS WAY!!

Of course, it does get immediately fixed, but even that may or may not have consequences down the road.

You mean the armor? All Might mentioned that he used to use support equipment but it was too bulky and broke too easily, so he stopped. Then Mei showed off the Air Force gauntlets and he realized that tech improved a lot since the old days.

Deku should have probably worn some more armor. He never gets any cool new outfits except for World Heroes Mission.

That stealth suit was an awesome look.

The ending of the latest chapter is something I hoped would happen since the end of Dark Deku's arc.

I really loved the scene with the civilian: Deku is really pushing everybody to take action. The thing with Eri is a bit convenient, but a reasonable way to have her contribute without being too overpowered. Also too bad for Ghastly, in an ideal world he would have been a cool miniboss.

While I share the sentiment, I think the reason Deku (and pretty much everyone who isn’t All Might) doesn’t wear armour is for optics purposes, which has been proved to be vital since day one.

Personally, even if I didn't need to, I would find some way to be an armored hero, like Iron Man, just because I think that's cool.

What about Iida?

Well, Iida has Grandfather Clause on his side because of his family and while he does wear armour as part of his costume, it's more on the stylised side than the practical one considering that Stain could harm him and his brother Tensei with his sword.

Yeah, you can wear armor as a hero. Spider-Man has protective gear when he really needs to get serious.

As as noted, Iida has gear as well. Gotta be safe when speeding kids.

There is also Thirteen. Aoyama wears armor, even though his head is uncovered.

You’d think Deku would wear more protective gear. It’s amazing it took him till Dark Deku to actually use the mask of his costume.

Not true, he used a mask the very first time he costumed up!

...It just got torn up right away.

Yeah, these heroes rarely use masks. I get they are more public figures but masks are quite important in the super hero genre.

Hey, uhhhh season 7 is showing up on Netflix.

There's like 3 episodes I didn't see on Cruncyroll. UA Heroes Battle, and two episodes that look like major recaps.

Hey, Izuku did use his mask before his Dark Deku-phase too.

Back when he first met Overhaul, he had it dragged down over his face by Mirio.

Besides that, I am still shocked over that he kept that thing on during the Dark-Deku phase. That thing when soaked must have been a horrible experience to wear. Soaked, heavy, cold, unwashed, stinking of rainwater. Horrible all the way through.

Netflix is really trying to push their anime lineup lately. For One Piece they jumped more then 500 episodes ahead from where they were to the current arc, which isn't even airing dubbed yet.

So looking at the way the final battle has been shaking out and looking over at X-Men, I kind of ended up thinking something:

What If ORCHIS formed in response to the sheer devastation of the final battle?

"Decay very well had the capacity to destroy the planet. And quirks will only get stronger than THAT?"

That’d basically just be Humerize, right?

Granted I could see them getting more popular after this.
