Just like Best Jeanist's Quirk.
Apparently OP but needs a shit ton of work & practice to actually be usable.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Deku even noted that the big three hadn't made a splash in the previous sports festival.
Now that Suneater's fight is done, we'll probably cut back to the main assault force, but I hope we get a glimpse of the girls too. Need to see Ryukyu in firebreathing action!
@LSBK: When I think about it, does makes sense that he'd know about stuff like that, if only because it's easier to think "I already eat this stuff, so what are some useful powers I could get from it?" rather than to have to go out of your way to look up weird crap to consume.
Reaction Image RepositoryI wonder if he'd be willing to eat a spider...
Perhaps, he'd only do it in the chill of night, at the scene, of a crime....
<Ducks a brick<
One Strip! One Strip! Is there any kind of food that has a spider as apart of its ingredients?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I know there are places where spiders are eaten. Probably not in Japan, though, I'd assume.
His repertoire is very Japanese, mostly seafood based, it seems.
Spiders are eaten in certain places yeah. Maybe he could find them at foreign food carts....
Waiting for the Kirishima Javelin combination attack.
Looks like we're gonna have a Dwindling Party. That's cool.
And damn, that shit with Kirashima looked painful.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I found it interesting that many of the older members hate Overhaul.
I'm expecting something like Luffy's defeat of Cracker here.
Secret SignatureIt kind of makes sense. Yakuza very much like to view themselves as legitimate members of society, something of a modern day Robin Hood. They probably really resented being labeled a villainous organization, and becoming full-on villains definitely wasn't any better.

Remember when Overhaul criticized Shiragaki for treating minions that had a lot of potential to be useful as disposable?
That sure looks super hypocritical now, doesn't it?
Clearly this means he has even better minions with superior quirks.
Or Eri is that important to his plans.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. At this point in time, I assume it's mostly because Eri is that important. But even without that, these guys just seem to be mostly muscle and you can always find strong guys to replace them.
Mimic and Chrono, by comparison, have actual assigned roles beyond that, so even if they are strong, he probably views them as useful beyond brute force.

Eri being important is one thing, but having a designated unit of guys strong enough to effectively stall against pro heroes being treated as trashable is another. Like, it's not just a desperate attempt at protecting the cornerstone of his plan, tossing these guys away at the first sign of trouble was always the idea.
And surely people strong enough to tear though Kirishima and Fatgum like that don't grow on trees. Certainly he's lost any right to criticize Shiragaki for not valuing Muscular and Moonfish. And it'd be downright bizarre if Overhaul had a better recruitment program than the league, considering he's currently trying to claw his way out of obscurity and is trying to convince Shiragaki to let him use the league's branding, so really he should be more careful with what minions he does have.
Well, it's also likely that Overhaul being a hypocritical shit is entirely intentional.
Yeah, Tomura lost Moonfish, Muscular, and the gas dude, who had some really powerful quirks, criminal experience, and potential, whereas the three who took on Suneater were just regular thugs he picked up off the street and brainwashed.
He taught them friendship. Clearly can't be that bad.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I mean, I'm entirely okay with the idea that Overhaul is meant to be hypocritical shit- the scene where he says that to Shiragaki is immediately followed by a moment where Shiragaki shouts at his allies to fall back out of concern for their well-being, which is contrasted by Overhaul coldly using a guy as a meat shield against Shiragaki's quirk.
And, indeed, in the grand scheme of things Overhaul is basically the Mirio to Shiragaki's Deku- just as Deku is a position of having to justify that he was a better choice than Mirio, Shiragaki is a position of having prove himself a better successor to AFO than Overhaul- hence when Overhaul's quirk is basically just a more versatile upgrade of Shiragaki's. And it makes sense to me that 'knowing how to use minions effectively' could be exactly how Shiragaki does that.
I don't think Izuku has to prove himself "better" than Mirio; he just has to show Night Eye that choosing him wasn't a mistake. Those aren't the same thing.
Same thing here really, circumstances have conspired the way they are that we know that Izuku and Shigaraki are eventually going to be the Top Hero and Underworld master. The issue is just making that believable even when admittedly there are a lot of other people who could easily feel either role.
Heh that is a nice contrast between how Tomura & Overhaul handle's there men.
Considering Tomura is in a desperate situation he realizes that he should be more protective os his small group.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
That's not actually something I thought of. Depending on the specifics of his power that could work.
But, yeah, I like how theme with the Big 3 so far seems to be that they have seemingly great powers, but they've had to put a shitton of work into actually making them great. Mirio and Tamaki really didn't seem all that good before getting into U.A and Nejire is probably the same.
It occurs to me that Tamaki probably does a lot of research like Momo. Like, it's probably not that uncommon to know that octopus have neurotoxic saliva, but it's definitely not the first thing to come to mind, and in situation that intense no less.
