That has to be the most original power I've seen in a long time. Plus with his apparent speed and fine control over it, it's actually a pretty strong and versatile quirk. The gimp suit still doesn't make sense though.

So Gas man pulls out a gun to deal with a dude who can armour his entire body? Is he an idiot?

Either he is an idiot that did not account for armor type quirks, or his gun is loaded with specialized bullets. Or maybe he has Improbable Aiming Skills and shoots him in the eye. I don't think he's armored there.

I find it hard to believe Tetsu-Tetsu wouldn't be armoured. Even if what's her name calls her stupid, there's no way he's that stupid.

They mean he probably can't harden his eyes.

But anyway, good chapter. I never thought the part about Tokoyami having control problems in the dark would come up like this though in hindsight I probably should have.

And on an unrelated note, Arha, though I get your point about Tomura not being threatening (yet) I think that's the point. Like Deku, where watching his development, only in his case into a truly fearsome villain. It's not a flaw so much as the point of his character.

Yeah, when Tokoyami mentioned that his shadow become harder to control in the dark, I was thinking that it became more unruly, maybe refuse to follow his commands and just do its own thing, not become a full-on Eldritch Abomination. He must sleep with the lights on at home. And could you imagine what it must have been like when his quirk first manifested and he had no idea about what it would do?

I think it's probably not usually this bad- the whole villains attacking thing likely triggered some sort of battle instinct.

Also, who's the guy Todoroki's carrying? One of the Class B mooks?

It's not just that he doesn't come off as a threat, it's that he isn't very interesting besides that anyway. His goal itself is just too implausibly eeeeeevil for me. What exactly do you have to gain from showing the world there's no such thing as justice or whatever?

Self satisfaction?Seeing the damned normies suffer?Muh "anarchy"?

I thought his motivation was 'All Might's a jerk'+attention whoring.

He's since added anarchist to his list.

After seeing All Might play the heel in that exam, the villains better feel damn lucky that All Might isn't a jerk.

Also being exposed to several different flavors of Evil Superman this past week.

Some think that Gas Mask is aiming for yaoihands-chan instead of Tetsu4.

@Arha: Does he technically need further motivation than proving that world sucks to everyone?

About Gasman I think its obvious not just by reading into his dialogue but also looking at the position he pulls out his gun & the exact moment Tetsu charges in, he's definitely gonna shoot him in the fucking eye.

Is Gasman a schoolkid?His outfit seems kinda similar.

I have a feeling it's just an outfit.

Anyway I doubt all of the villains in this arc will be beaten. I am guessing quite a few of them will escape. But I have a feeling that some of them will be captured here. Moonfish, Gasman, Muscular and the Blue Nomu guy are my bets.

I agree. Its a very weird & hypocritical statement as well Kendou is also inadvertently insulting the hero Snipe cause he uses guns as well.

Still a pretty good chapter. I liked Gas-man & i'm also glad that Shouji is getting some spotlight since he's always had what I think is a pretty cool look.

I took it more as a reasoned conclusion that if he had bothered to pack a gun, he's probably not very confident in his close combat skills.

That just means he's thought ahead.

It's probably seen as there being a difference between using a gun because your quirk enhances it and using one despite your quirk having nothing to do with it.
