Been a month, sorry.
That said, I don't see much of this broader usage, and we just cleaned this trope up. I do not see a reason to let this go live.

The trope page states that Animesque works are "things that are done in an art style similar to Japanese anime." However, it's usage on the wiki (and in popular culture) also include Japanese themes and idioms. They should be separated for clarity.
