Pretty fun show, although filled with ridiculousness. I like most of the actors, but I see this going off the rails before too long.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedOff the rails?? What do you mean?
I'm watching purely for the sheer ridiculousness of it all, and to see what happened with the murder of Annalise's husband. It's kind of fun, but mostly I just rant about everything that is inaccurate. Especially when she hired first-year law students, on their FIRST DAY of law school, to work cases with actual, experienced lawyers.
Pretty much what said. There is plenty to call this show out for as ridiculous, but for right now, the excitement is high enough that I'm enjoying it immensely anyway. But I know that it's eventually going to get to the point where that doesn't work.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedI think the show's been really good so far. Entertaining but not law-accurate describes just about every Crime Procedural I've ever watched so I'm not going to hold that against this. I like everyone in the main cast, especially Connor and Asher. Last episode was basically a Downer Ending, I didn't expect The bomber lady to jum ship like that, but seeing as how her case was going south fast I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Yeah, is clear the charm of the show are the chararters not the laws or the cases itself, considereing is the same team who make greys anatomy
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"This week on How to Get Away With Murder, first year law students weren't hired at a law firm and didn't work on exciting cases. No sex was had. No murder was committed. Everyone studied. A lot.
You guys see the problem with this?
An advantage that I have as teenager is that I am not aware to the ways of the world. For the most part, if you tell me something is happening I'm like 'Yeah, O.K. what about it?'
You poor, poor, educated people /knowing/ things and the law and being able to point our inaccuracies.
It's not enjoyable as a thinking show, but it is enjoyable as whatever the hell you would call whatever the hell this show is. Law mystery murder thriller?
What are everyone's thoughts on the characters so far?
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."I like most of the characters so far, except for that beardy lawyer guy who works with Keating. The one that hits on students and tries to have sex with them. Yeah, that guy gives me the creeps. Here's hoping he gets killed off!
Why is your penis on a dead girl's phone?
Wow, I didn't see that twist coming. Good episode.
Wow, so Annalise's husband was definitely involved. Well, damn.
Did you guys see the promo for the next episode?
Go watch the promo, please.
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."I especially loved the scene where Annalise took her makeup and wig off...Very powerful.
Absolutely. That scene gave me chills.
What do you mean you didn't see that coming? They've already shown that they murdered her husband to protect Rebecca. That was the most hyped-up Untwist I've seen.
Gotta give props to Viola Davis for that mirror scene.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedI tried to get here by searching 'How to Get Away From Murder'.
I'm glad Connor didn't do anyone last episode. Like, as nice as it is to see it would've been excessive at this point. Like, what happens when no gay men are involved in the case? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH YOUR PENIS NOW, CONNOR?
So, next episode is an Asher episode? I think? I hope? I fear? If not, we come full circle and back to Dean Thomas.
I love Asher, he's so douchey but not in a mean way? Like, his interest in Connor's sex life reeks of those people who are going overboard in trying to say 'oh, yeah. I'm super accepting of gay people. Top or bottom?'
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."Asher is like the most stereotypical rich douchebag character ever. I laugh whenever he says something terrible. It's amazing.
Asher is offically charcter, wow!
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."Yeah, Asher was really intense this last episode due to his father's connection to the botched case.
So Viola Davis won the Emmy for best lead actress in a drama for HTGAWM.
And it was awesome. And the show comes back this thursday!
How To Get Away With Murder is back for season 2.
Nate Lahey's murder case was dropped thanks to Annalise's emotional questing by her new bisexual love interest played by Famke Janssen. Also the new big Driving Question this season is "Who shot Annalise?"

So Amanda Waller's dating Jean Grey, huh?
Well, I would hesitate to call it dating.
I'm actually surprised this show doesn't have it's own thread.
I've really enjoyed it so far, the last three episodes are great. Viola Davis and Alfie Enoch are really, really great in the show.
What do you guys think about the show so far?
