Yeah, "what is your name" makes it pretty clear that he's the player character. Probably about as clear as it's possible to get.

I like 17 or 24.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo, would everyone be okay with me putting up 24 as the page image?
Slow down there, I don't think a consensus has been reached, though it would appear the 24 will be used.
Just asking, not doing anything.

I think you could do a 1:1 scale side-by-side, personally (that is, take the original screencaps, no filtering, at the Game Boy's native 160x144 resolution, slap 'em side-by-side, 320x144). As it is, pic 1 is still blurry.
Do you have the original screencaps handy?

Those links are to your harddrive.
Check out my fanfiction!I think the side-by-side version is clearer as far as the textboxes are concerned. And as with previous comment, the arrow should point at the name he's actually using in the second one.
Check out my fanfiction! It's an improvement on the current, but surely we should be able to find a picture that actually shows people fighting, instead of text saying they're about to fight?
Most of the examples on the page would be either hard to google search specific images to show that a character was the player character of a previous game, or there wouldn't be enough context to show that a character was the character of a previous game...
Yes, during the story of Injustice Gods Among Us, you play as Lex Luthor and the Joker at various points, and eventually end up fighting them later on, but there's also a mirror match between Batman and Batman. There's no way to tell that you were controlling those characters at some earlier point in the story.
Yes, I could google up images of Darth Revan's return in Star Wars The Old Republic, but the Darth Revan's reveal Knights Of The Old Republic is a pretty big reveal itself, so that would require knowing who he is.
I could get a screencap from Ace Combat Zero The Belkan War of the Bonus Boss fight against Mobius One, the protagonist from Ace Combat 04, but that would still require knowledge that he was the character from that game (and in all likelyhood, the screenshots would be poor quality.
We're looking at the best possible example to illustrate on the whole page.
For some reason doing that doubles the file size after PNG optimization, but when the result is still only 5KB, I suppose that's moot. Anyway, arrow moved:

Moon◊It looks good.
I do not want to look like I'm rushing a decision, but I want to ask if a mod making a crowner is necessary here.
Nope, there is only one option, really. Done (up, tagged, etc). Caption?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think the previous caption still works. Let me put it back up.
Ehhh, I don't think it works quite as well with the new image as it did with the old one. Particularly since the image depicts a point after talking with him...
Moon◊Actually, I think the picture works best without a caption at all. Not the old one, that's for sure.
If you guys say so, I'll re-delete it.
"Heck I think the next line after naming 'so your name is Red' would work better than current suggestion."
Then it wouldn't sound like you'd actually given him the name.
