Suggestion: Modesty Towel

The current image is very small.

I suggest to replace it with Heather from Total Drama [1]◊

The suggestion is pretty good. As an alternative, here's a new version of the current that adds a bit more perspective to the scene.

I think that @2 is sharper than @1.

I think it looks kind of awkward with C.C. just having half her face visible like that. But that's still better than both current and OP suggestion.

well, but I think is more effective my suggestion because you see the character in the close-up without other elements to distract.

Honestly, if we're just weighing the merits of the current and the OP, then there's really not a compelling reason to make the change since both convey the trope adequately; the current being a little on the small side doesn't hurt it. I chose to have the other character in the new version of the current to give some additional context to the scene, as having someone else there makes the woman wearing the towel that much more reasonable.

That kinda bugs me too, but I did a GIS on the current and that particular scene is the only thing that showed up as an option that wasn't the same size as the current or smaller.

Actually, the current on top of being smaller than @2 is also blurrier than the current.

The second and last one of those are good contenders. The others are too blurry for my liking.

I still like @2 best though.

Those would be good for Image Links...there's something about them being in the hot spring wearing the towels that blunts the effect for me. this◊ is the only one that I would put up against 2, and I still prefer 2.

This looks good imo.

I kind of prefer 12 over 2 because it lacks the awkwardness of 2.

I'm still 'ing the Love Hina pics that just have the ladies in the bath; the only one of those suggestions that truly preserves the whole meaning of the trope is the one where they're beating the crap out of Keitaro. "Wearing a towel to cover up in a situation where modesty is needed/desired" is the whole point of the trope; in most of those, it makes no sense for them to be wearing towels while bathing together...the example on the page even points out that the manga has them in the nude in those situations.

No, I think that's more of a censorship tactic than anything...I wouldn't think that modesty would be a concern for women sharing a bath.

Then the line about people doing it when alone should be removed.

I don't get why they wouldn't count, it seems exactly this trope but only with an added fridge logic of the fact that when those towels get completely soaked they get really heavy.

If 'between girls' is an issue the to pic in post 2 is not an example as well. Heck in at least 2 shows I can think of a girl makes sure to wear a towel or bathing suit to a bathhouse just cause she is shy and it gets talked about.
