I suspect that may be exactly what Alice and Sedna are thinking.
So now we have a rough estimate of the time since the end of rocket-using civilization: thousands of years.
I find myself curious how far they can go with technology or if there's anything holding back the technological advancement of civilization at large.
Maybe that's why Ardent and Gavia were allowed down.

Yeah, it's more like a big sister wanting to protect her little brother. It's like that, in that it is exactly that. Ardent went missing from the station and somehow ended up on Earth, Gavia was worried and followed to bring him back, because she's her little brother and she doesn't want bad things to happen to him.
