Speaking of Gen, new chap up. I must say that among all the things in the 20-years-ago arc, Asahi's interactions with young Gen are my favorite part.

Also, Eevul Deemun 1.0 needed some work.

This really makes me wonder if Touko actually remembers him after all of this. Also his interactions with her must be super awkward now.

Young Genjirou is hilarious. But what stole the show is Karen, despite appearing so little. I literally lol'd when I saw the raws.

Also, last page. I saw a screw and some dreadlocks.

Yeah, I think Touko actually remembers him, and that's why she almost instantly likes him. Genjirou's a dumbpire, so he most likely forgot

Well, this was interesting. I find it amusing that Asahi fits right into the slot where logically one of his parents should go.

It's a huge disturbance. Our characters no longer know if they're in a comedy or a drama and keep switching between the two! And it's all done seemlessly, which is quite impressive.

Why does seeing Karen cry make me want to cry as well? ;_;

And dammit, Genjirou is just as much of a dumbpire as his daughter. Youko is like they just take his personality and put it into Touko's body.

Nah, they don't quite have the same brand of stupidity. Gen is a bit more of a tsundere jerk. Hell, he correctly guessed who the culprit was for the halo.

Heh, I'm using a version of that pic as my desktop right now. It's black and white though, so it wouldn't make a good page image.

Not sure what's up with it being M-rated for some reason. Only thing I can think of is that somebody got some wires crossed and confused it with Monster Musume, which definitely earns that rating.

Either of those images would work in theory, though I think they might be a bit too busy if we shrunk them down to page image size.

Maybe Shiho has something to do with the rating? The anime actually plays her Ms. Fanservice part seriously instead of for laughs.

It's possible, but I can't imagine the anime is any more explicit about it than the manga is, and that only got a T. I mean, serious or not, there's always a Scenery Censor or Censor steam preventing anything from actually being shown.

…I was just thinking that it could actually make for a good supervillain backstory in a comics.

But seriously, that's terrifying and explains a lot about Genjirou. On the other hand Asahi has been letting Youko suck his blood, which means there's less chance of her doing the same thing, and a number of her friends already know she's a vampire and would be less affected by the reveal anyway. But still, not pleasant.

Damn, poor Genjirou.

At this point, the only ones who don't know about is are Oka, Sakura, Shima, and Youko's three girl friends. The first three are probably already desensitized to supernatural stuff thanks to Akane, and Oka experienced the gods of (mis)fortune firsthand. So yeah, not expecting them to freak out too much.

The other three basically represents the whole school...honestly given what kind of crap Akane pulled, especially during the Sakura x Akari arc, I don't think they'd be too surprised about supernatural beings either.
