Let me get this straight: There's 85 chapters, but only 50 or so out in English?

Chou's Counter Attack! Hilarious chapter as usual.

I think it's really admirable how so many chapters are so intricate in their set-up and execution, yet also kind of stand-alone. The use of so many running gags is usually not that funny, but the author knows how to play them effectively - giving them new twists here and there to make them more fresh. For instance, the choux and Magical Girl Mikan, intermixed with Aizawa being comically shocked and scared.

Yet despite so much content, most of these events manage to pack themselves in a single chapter (like the limited edition burgers chapter). Pretty impressive.

On 's last point: that's what's great about this series. The relationships between the characters − and not just the two MCs − actually, you know, evolve. The first/last name basis thing is used in a pleasantly significant manner in that regard.

Yes, so far. The English releases have been pretty fast lately, though. Maybe a bit too fast, as the chapters badly need some proof-reading, but I'm not gonna complain (… wait, I just did, didn't I).

Chapter 51 is up. Wonderful as usual. Akane tries to destroy the world with an asteroid so she can get Aizawa's chocolates, and Akari responds by getting all the other cooks to give her chocolate instead. Oh, and it's implied Aizawa's mother is coming to visit.

... I fucking love this manga.

No, I mean, considering some developments in chapter 80+, I first thought we were approaching a conclusion, but the latest chapter made me think otherwise.

Yeah, I must say, I really love how this series works. It's not particularly innovative or unique, but it's a great take on the genre. It's a great pick-me-up.

Just realized that while Rin is buttoning Shiho's shirt, the latter is unbuttoning it from the bottom up. A tough opponent indeed. It's a pity that these two are a bit underused.

As for chap 87…

Youko and Asahi don't have a clue of what it means to behave as a couple, so in her usual benevolent fashion, Akane prepares a quizz for the two of them to help them speak more honnestly. If their answer is wrong, the booth they are in will tilt little by little and make them fall in the mud. The mechanism is activated manually by Karen, because Akane's good deeds aren't complete if she doesn't bully Karen.

IIRC, the original line Shiho says is that it's like giving a golden rod to an oni. Apparently the translator changed it because it came off weirdly in English.

… And that's an awesome change.

Nagisa has received a call that she will be repatriated to her planet. She's pretty sure that it is because of her not managing to keep her cover, and the punishment for that is to have your naked ass spanked in front of a crowd. So to at least not totally lose her honor, she asks Shiho to teach her how to have a beautiful butt ("bijiri"). She ends up going through the entire pervert course, which she complains about at the end − she's also hit by the Fridge Logic that polishing the butt of her outer unit isn't going to accomplish much if it's her real body that is spanked. And apparently, Youko and Asahi learned the news of Nagisa's departure through Shiho's phone.

… okay, trying to explain it only makes it more awkward.
