Ieria listened intently to all that was going on, she did turn and frown at Medus after he came back from talking with Alice. "What did you just demand?" She whispered to him, before turning back to the subject at hand. "I would cherish the thought of attacking him head on, but I will abide by your rulings, your highness." She said with a bow.
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperAlexia nodded, then listed off the facts. "So, myself, Alice, Ieria will meet up with Alexandros. I'm not taking Alfred, that would be a complete disaster."
She paused a bit. "Sir Ayers and Miss Naima will be part of the infiltration. We need three more. I would like to nominate Miss Noiri, as she's the best at stealth. Perhaps Alfred as well."
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.Medus shot back an evil grin. "Demand is such a harsh word. I prefer to think of it as...aggressive negotiation. I mean really I haven't even gotten anything yet."
-dramatic music ensues-Jack sat down, thinking, well, for all his power, Omega seemed to have glaring weakspots.
Good to be back"If you believe Noiri is capable of succeeding at this mission, I'll agree." Pius replied. "But Alfred needs to go with Alexia to meet Alexandros. If he's expecting both princesses to have their Royal Knights with them, and I'm betting he is, seeing one of them missing could arouse suspicion. Let me go instead; I know my way around stealth. You kind of have to learn with siblings like mine."
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Ieria turned to Alfred and locked eyes with him. "...I trust you will not behave yourself." She said with a calm, emotionless tone, one that still somehow came off as teasing.
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper"I'd also sign up for the infiltration," Lucas said to Alice, "but I have no intention of causing any distractions within the team."
Like get Carol too busy looking after me to concentrate on the mission...
Remus returned to the kitchen, wiping sweat from his face with a towel. He looked around at everybody, kind of feeling the serious atmosphere and promptly asked: "Did I... Miss something?"
Way to go Remus.
Alexia frowned. "Point taken." She fixed Alfred a glare, all but daring him to say something.
"Do not cause an international incident."
Alice frowned as well. "I don't think Lucas should go either. Carol is highly unpredictable with you there. Pius...okay. We need a fifth. Someone who stays cool under pressure."
"That's basically just Medus." deadpanned Alexia. "Wait, and Ai as well. I should ask her."
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism."Thank you for the vote of confidence, Alexia." Pius retorted. "Medus can come as well if he wants to. This Ai-person...I'll trust your judgment there, you probably know her better than I do."
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Yun turned to Remus. "They're planning to infiltrate Olympus Corp and find proof to incriminate someone named Alexandros." He explained. "So far, Noiri, Namia, Ayers and Pius have been confirmed."

Well, great. Ignored again like she was clutter on the streets. Noa's fury simmered down slightly as she nodded to Noiri, though. It was her partner's chance to impress, and the thief could catch some royal eyes if she excelled at her job. The two of them knew that. With that in mind, she signalled her approval and support with just that one look.
Finally, something worth getting happy over was happening. Not that she'd actually get the chance to, what with the royals consistently pissing her off now.
"So one team will distract Alexandros, and another will infiltrate the tower," Lucas said. "Anything else?"
Alice noticed Noa simpering in the background. She sighed. Might as well get over this. The elder princess turned to Noa.
"I've heard from Alexia about you. The problem is that you are a Warrior not a Knight. But, if you really wish for a job that matches your skills...then call this man."
Alice handed Noa a card.
James D., Enforcer. Contact: 870-6343
Meanwhile, Alexia just gave her partner a flat look. "I could use a hundred words to describe you. Calm is not one of them."
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.Pius gave a shrug at his friend's comment. "That is true. My back is always so knotted up, you'd need a sword to untie it. But still, you know that I'm going on this mission, Alexia. As your partner and leader, it's in my best interest."
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...She gave him a soft smile. "I know. You always wete incredibly stubborn. I trust you'll get it done. But be careful."
Alice snorted. "And you wonder why Pa thinks you should marry him."
"Shut up, you!"
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism."Behave myself at what? I don't even know who this Alexandros person is, or what is all of this Weapon Girl bullshit. But I guess you have an important mission?"
"Lexi, please, you do remember I was a bodyguard to nobles right? They aren't known to being very... Emotionally stable. I can be professional if I want to." He said, keeping the monotone voice and bodyguard pose.
Before immediately dropping it for fake tears and a hurt expression on his face. "Although my emotions are hurt. You, of all people, do not even trust me. I'm hurt princess, I'm hurt. So much that the scars caused by your wound of mistrust will never heal. You've wounded me, forever princess."
"Yeah, alright. Crush dissenters, n' whatever tha family wants. Got it." Noa growled, taking the card with an annoyed glare. "Now if ya excuse me, Ah gotta spider to smash. Al."
She gave a venomous glare at her teammate. Snarkiness was one thing, bullshitting was another. She didn't appreciate the latter, by far.
"I will, Alexia." Pius replied with a chuckle. Seriously, I can't believe she had a crush on me back then. That's ridiculous. And yet, here is the evidence.
The Nobel listened to Alfred's monologue with an expression mixed between amusement and disappointment. When the Royal Knight had finished his overblown tirade, he glanced at Alexia before looking at Alfred.
"Should we give him some real scars just for talking that way?" He asked half-seriously, the thought of giving Alfred a scar somewhere embarrassing both tempting and something the Nobel didn't want to consider doing.
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%..."You'll live. When have you ever listened to me, anyway?" Alexia replied dryly.
She sighed. "It's just that I've known you long enough to guess that you would hate Alexandros. Have you watched TV lately? The guy wearing snakeskin pants with the ego the size of Remnant? That's him."
She looked at Pius sternly. "Oh, don't sink to his level."

Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism."I take it we're going for a non-lethal approach?" Naima asked, hands folded behind her back as she shot Alice a polite smile.
"Who am I, Elisha Otis?"Alice nodded at Naima. "I can't authorize lethal force. But your mission is infiltration, and not assasination."
She gave her a bitter smile. "...Do it for Mia. And for the others whose lives they ruined."
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.Al dropped the expression as Noa walked to him, sighed and began to speak:"Fine, be like that Fire-Punch, I swear you've got no sense of humor."
"Nope! I usually read books in my free time. I don't watch that shiny picture-box thing. Oh, also, seriously, I've dealt with nobles for 3 years of my life and was never once kicked for my attitude. You are underestimating my endurance. Not to mention, I'd really rather not have my employer die. So I'm coming with you whether you like it or not." He said sternly, staring into her eyes with a serious look. She did give him a job that'll set him up for life, no way he'll just let her do what she wants and die because of her stupid sense of self-righteous justice.
"Oh and I have plenty of scars Whitey-Knightey." He said as he turned to look at Pius, switching from the stern to the signature smug smile. "Most of them are under my clothing and not my face, unlike what you'll expect from reading fiction."
Glen didn't have time to react to Charisse sudden drop and instead of grabbing her, ended up tripping over her and landing directly on top of her.
Glen then proceeded to swear profusely in his native tongue as Ai's increased weight landed directly on his back.
Ayers nodded at the ghost. "If'n I can't kill Alexandros, I can at least pop some heads. Wiglaf Platinum's way better'n situations like'at." He popped Naegling off and loaded it back into his bag. "Gud to know y'all want some frontier justice." Ayers's features became much more serious. "Git the evidence, I hang'm. I done did it before. We ain't tak'nm to court, not like city slickers git it. Git the folks aginst someone it don't matter hwut them thar lawmen say."
