All high elves, I'm afraid. Subraces aren't much of a thing here.

• Age: Thirtysomething
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: 6 feet tall, well built, scruffily handsome features marred by a scar going from the middle of his forehead through where his left eye used to be to below his ear. Shaggy blond hair and permastubble. Gold thread eyepatch. In genral something of a fashionplate, is particularly fond of his knee length black boots and musketeer style hat.
• Personality: Used to be a serious dandy and ladys man. Still dresses the part because fashion is Serious Business but his personality is a lot more subdued since losing his eye. Where he used to shove his way to the front of the group he prefers to play the support role now.
• Abilities:
  • Multilingual: Speaks and reads several languages
  • Calligraphy: Writes with a very fine hand, in fact is a bit of an artist with pen and paper
  • Weapons Skills: Is quite good with bow and spear, although not as good with the former since losing an eye. Since then he has switched from longbow to using a crossbow-pistol since he doesn't trust his long range shooting. He's still learning that. Also a competant, if not spectacular, swordsman.
  • Riding: Is an expert horseman.
  • Music: Is a very good guitarist and flautist.
  • Tracking: Is a skilled tracker
• Equipment:
  • Several scrolls, books, some blank, some filled, a number of ink pots most black but a couple of colored ones as well.
  • One handed crossbow aka crossbow-pistol
  • Spear
  • Guitar
  • Flute
  • Saber
• Misc: Is the second son of a minor lord.

Yeah I changed quite a bit from my original conception, like getting rid of magic abilities. Hope it still passes muster.

I'm a sole to-be-GM of this at the moment though I can't say I won't consider any co-G Ms in the future if we manage to become big enough.

With that out of the way, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to say no to these, particularly to the last one. Like I said before, mentions of Peninsula on my Troper Page are barebones and not really good enough to make anything out of them.

As for severing The Wasteland from Peninsula, there is a river by the name of Scorpion that runs from somewhere in Dragon Mountains to the very end of Western Sea. It splits into two smaller rivers that give natural borders to the Land of Demons - reclusive folk that are held in contempt by the majority of Peninsula, being suspected as the perpetrators. Since it's been pretty much eons ago, nobody really knows the truth.

And 'sides, we're venturing into desert anyway.

Didn't mean to give any impression of of GMing, just following up on this post. What do you have in mind for contributions to the world, Fergard?

Well, I do have general outline of the world. I was thinking of smaller things like Each did - with implementing various gods and such.

That said, after deliberating a bit I suppose that point about New Leaf could stand. However, since we're venturing out in The Wasteland where - dare I say - I shall be the lord and master of the environment, let's keep the worldbuilding aspect to a smaller, more personal level.

And here's the leader of your expedition.

• Name: Claudia Carreau
• Race: Human
• Age: 34
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: As seen here.◊ Is fairly tall, standing at 177 centimeters.
• Personality: Miss Carreau is a proud individual, something of a vice that hasn't left her side ever since she became a Paladin and then relinquished that honor later on. It's not borderline smugness, but she can be a handful to work with in a way that she doesn't like taking no for an answer one bit. Seems to enjoy fighting and takes pride in her skill as a warrior as well. Despite these vices however she cares for those under her protection - which would include the whole expedition - and by The Great Wolf, she will have heads of those who dare threaten them.
• Abilities:
  • Her service as a Paladin left her proficient in the art of war. She's an exceptional swordsman and handles other melee weapons decently enough if need to.
  • Despite entering middle age her physical condition is still the very top of human capability, also due to aforementioned service.
• Magic:
  • Claudia can call forth the cleansing flames of The Great Wolf to strengthen her attacks. For all intents and purposes apart from combating the undead - in which it's doubly effective - it's your standard-issue magical fire.
  • She also knows the basics of healing arts.
• Equipment:
  • Her custom-made zweihander made of unnamed kind of metal that lets her swing it with ease. Whenever she uses her fire powers, the cavities in the blade fill out with blaze one after another though that has no effect other than visual.
  • Armor of the Paladin - with various protective spells put all over it and made of finest materials available it manages to hold its own despite its continuous use.
  • Backpack with various odds and ends required for such an expedition.
