CW is airing a Mortal Kombat tournament. CBS is airing the Grammy Awards that is why there isn't a new episode.

It's not like you're sitting next to your buddy playing the game, they have commentators, talking about odds and discussions on strategy. The organization and players sometimes have sponsors too.

Yeah e-sports can get pretty serious, the fighting game stuff can get crazy, as apparently they're considering putting a divider between the players, because they're trained to such a level that they can tell what move their opponent is about to make by seeing a muscle twitch out of the corner of their eye a mili-second before a button gets mashed.

I am not surprised about e-sports as a whole, but I didn't expect Mortal Kombat to be featured prominently. I am pretty sure the Street Fighter and Soul Calibur scenes are much bigger.

Oh yeah they also used to have the Infinite Crisis MOBA game. I guess they focused on Mortal Kombat because X is the latest version of the series.

Jeremy Jordan, Winn's actor, pretty much stated on his Twitter that "The Girl Who Has Everything" was supposed to be a season finale episode
. Since the extension happened, I'm going to assume that the team has a better footing now and have a solid, favorable balance of the day-job and hero lives of Kara and Co.

Master Jailer? He has been around since before Crisis On Infinite Earths.
In the comics, Master Jailer is a human (who also went by the names Deathtrap, Locksmith, Kator and "Moosie") obsessed with capturing Superman. Here, he'll be an alien who was formerly in charge of Fort Rozz.
And Silver Banshee looks really cool! She's one I'm very excited for.
