More Supergirl casting information.
They are looking for Cat Grant, James Olsen, Winslow "Wynn" Schott, and Hank Henshaw.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureKara is a real name, but don't know how common it is. Kara Danvers, Kara Zor-El, hmm... anhey look alike. Could they be the same person?
CBS partly owns CW, correct?
I think crossovers with Arrow and Flash are definitely a possibility.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Yeah CBS owns half of the CW. WB owns the other half.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure, It could happen.

That could be potentially interesting. A TV superhero universe populated with B-listers (well OK, the Flash isn't quite a B-lister... but he isn't Superman either).
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.I think if Superman exists on this show he would have to be in his 40s based on the ages of Cat Grant and James Olsen.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe way I see it, Bats and Supes are AAA-listers while Wonder Woman, The Flash, and GL are A-listers.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Cool! I've been waiting for them to announce a third show for that universe.
Looking through the thread and - HOLY CRAP HANK HENSHAW. Cyborg Superman being one of my favorite villains, I can't wait to see more of this.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'd like to see that.
I hope we make a clean break from the Richard Donner films, unlike Smallville. We probably will, given that she's a fairly tertiary character.
I'm a skeptical squirrelJust as long as they not try to make Supergirl into Batman. Man of Steel did well in terms of distancing from the Reeve movies (use of Zod aside), but turning Superman into Batman was a terrible idea by any stretch of the imagination.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Coming from someone who is a much bigger fan of the Dark Kniight than the Big Blue Boy Scout, I agree with you. The universe needs balance. I love Arrow but Flash keeps that world from getting too grimdark.
Trump delenda estArrow probably wouldn't have been as dark in Season 1 if it didn't come out when the Dark Knight Trilogy was still brand new. The Flash was lucky because it came out at a point where people were having some complaints about everything after the Nolan trilogy being too grimdark so they got to be more comic booky. Supergirl will probably be similar in tone to the Flash or maybe between both. It could also be a lot lighter than Arrow and the Flash.
It might exist in that universe.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSupposedly all the DC shows are in the same universe but I wouldn't make any bets on a crossover between say Arrow and Gotham
Trump delenda estDoes that include Constantine? I could see Gotham taking place in Arrow's past but Constantine doesn't really seem to fit.
No, actually not. Arrow and Flash share an universe, but Gotham and Constantine are set each one in different continuities (due to being produced by different networks). Supergirl is being produced by half of the sponsors of CW, which produces Flash and Arrow, so it is possible that it will share the same universe.
The producers of all the DC shows say it is possible that all shows exist in the same continuity they are all produced by Warner Bros. and Warner Bros. own all the characters. They said maybe next season we will see crossovers between the other show.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThink you're throwing out Grimdark too readily? The Batman movies were about hope after all. Or is a stern determination to take yourself seriously grounds for Grimdark now?
Edit:Since when did dark become a synonym for edgy anyway? I think dark like that time of day when I go to sleep, or the healthiest kind of chocolate.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackSorry, they can say whatever they want, but if the networks where the series are in emission veto this (FOX with Gotham and NBC with Constantine), and it is quite likely, a crossover is impossible.
I'd have to read their original words on the subject, but if they said "possibly" then its likely they were talking in a "maybe one day it will be possible to negotiate these universes linking" sense, not actually saying all the shows are in the same continuity.

Are we allowed to make Series/Supergirl yet? WMG fodder.
