Sara should stop by for booty calls all the time.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I finally tune into this show after a while of not being able to, and BAM! Legion of Superheroes reference. Awesome!

He just gets better and better.
So Reign is Kryptonian Batwoman?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Supergirl got fucked up.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. She'll be ok in about...6 weeks or so.
Ruby...Im not so sure about.
Damn.
Christmas almost never goes well for CW heroes does it?
Especially Season three Christmas'.
So far Barry is the only one who's season 3 Christmas ep didn't end with him bloody and beaten and near death.
So yeah, Kara got rekt and badly.
One Strip! One Strip! That's the title of one of the first episodes after the break.
Well, that was probably the darkest episode yet (maybe alongside 'Alex').

Okay, it never happened to Kara before, but both Ollie & Barry already got it, and designed in the same way too. Which is a shame as this time we saw the buildup towards the identity of the Big Bad, so it would have been nice for the story to unfold differently.
I guess it's better than killing off a character for shock value and establish villainous credentials...
Actually, I don't recall Barry getting as badly brutalized as Kara or Ollie did in their winter breaks.
Zoom crippled him before the crossover, and Savitar and the Reverse Flash roughed him up, but not to the point of near death the way Reign just did to Kara, or Ra's did to Oliver.
Barry's had his mid season low points, but he's still never been that low.
One Strip! One Strip!Barry's got the superspeed healing thing going on, so injuries don't really last for him the same way they do for the others.
By the same token, last season Legends of Tomorrow actually had Sara die during their Christmas episode, but being that she's Sara Lance and they have Gideon's magical surgery room, she was up and walking around before the episode was over.
Barry's loss against Zoom was pretty much the same thing as what happened here. Kara looks like she'll be in a bit of a coma, Barry was outright crippled for a minute.
The main differences are less the severity and more the specifics-Kara suffered a public defeat while Barry suffered a very public humiliation.
Also, fact that Barry actually had his supporting cast help him out (Cisco is the only reason Zoom didn't kill him, Reign just sort of left Kara for dead, probably figuring she can just kill her later if she survives) while Supergirl had several active, trained, powerful, experienced superheroes who just sat this one out.
Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing from an out of universe perspective, but makes very little sense in-universe.
Yeah, I got that same slow reaction of "ooooh shit, they're going full Zoom" as the fight kept going on.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I honestly think Oliver had it worst.
And I'm not talking about the stupid 'death' at the hands of Ra's, I'm talking about last year's mid-season finale. Being manipulated into killing an innocent man (the current boyfriend of your ex, no less) beats being hospitalized by a long shot.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Anyone else wish that the Supergirl/Reign fight ended with Reign saying, "She gave me a bad coupon."?
I'm sorry, I just couldn't take the Reign fight seriously. All I could think was "where the fuck is Kal?"
My various fanfics.Dealing with stuff in his own city?
Also, since Supergirl already defeated him, I don't think he could take on Reign either.

One Strip! One Strip!Kal would get beat down just as badly - Both him and Kara are regular Kryptonian citizens, Reign was made to be a weapon. I only really see two paths to victory here- talking her down, and lots of Kryptonite. The second, they would need Kal for because they are bloody idiots, but..
I won't be surprised if Sam turns out to be immune to Kryptonite.
Though it would be funny if B5 just points out that trying kryptonite would have been the obvious smart first move
Reign is about to kill Supergirl in a final battle, when suddenly a breach opens up and a Kryptonite arrow flies into her neck - with a gruff voice shouting: "Kryptonite nanomachines, courtesy of Ray Palmer!"
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. With Alex "i want to be a mom" bonding with Ruby and Sam apparently attacking her, I can see this ending with Sams death and Alex adopting Ruby. I'm not sure if I want that though.
Sure, it would shake up tha status quo and I'm all for that, but it would also seem to dark for this series. It would be neet if they could rid Sam of her evil split personality without her loosing her powers, but that seems to much like a "having your cake and eating it" scenario.
You lost!
It's surprising that the Legends went to see King Arthur and Morgan wasn't used.
Wake me up at your own risk.
