Well, I just found out that the reason the ghost versions of BombMan and PharaohMan weren't spawning for me in Mega Man Battle Network 1 was because I'd spent several hours looking for them in the wrong area.
A great Mascot Mook.I did the Pokémon equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight bc I wasn't anticipating getting as far as Palmer in the Battle Tower. My Quagsire got put to sleep by his Milotic, which then proceeded to take out my Heracross, and my Ninetales swiftly fell soon after. Not even Quagsire stood a chance when I had to bring it back in.
Also um. I'm. Terrible at Voltorb Flip. So I'm planning a workaround for my next run.

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantA friend playing TOTK only discovered you can Ultrahand a Flux Construct's main box (the weak point) after 200 hours of gameplay.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Last weekend, I played Taiko no Tatsujin for the first time at an arcade. I had absolutely no idea what to do for the blue notes, and I felt so dumb for not figuring it out. I just looked up how to play, and now it seems kind of obvious.
In my defense, the game must have been an import, as all the text was in Japanese.
Sonic In X Minutes Infinite is best Infinite. Please check out the Adaptational Personality Change example I wrote for more info.I finally finished Oddworld: Soulstorm and on the second-to-last level, I didn't realize I had to possess a Sligg to shoot down a wooden wall. I killed him and then went to another checkpoint by mistake. As this made the level Unintentionally Unwinnable (talk about poor level design, huh?), I was forced to restart the whole damn level. About an hour of my life I'll never get back.
Oh, I believe in yesterdayI don't nickname my Pokemon cause I can never think of any nicknames.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I never did either. ^_^;;
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I’m the opposite. I obligate myself to name every Pokemon, so I spend a lot more time than anyone needs to on the nickname screen.
I nickname most Pokemon, too, just to personalize 'em a bit more. I hate that they got rid of nicknaming mons in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. Though I forgot to nickname most mons I caught in Pokémon Legends: Arceus due to the fact that the option to name them doesn't come up automatically, unlike most games, and it slipped my mind.
Oh, I believe in yesterdayOh God, I do the same shit Although I am terrible with names so if I can't get a suggestion out of anyone or can't think of anything the mon just goes unnamed lmfao
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantI am so bad with directions in BOTW/TOTK that I often have to look up where I need to go for every questline if it's not spelled out on the map. (Current topic: Trying to find Zelda's runaway horse 'somewhere northeast' of a snowbound stable.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.I once cheated on a Nuzlocke run of Pokémon-X. I didn't count the death of my Xerneas Anastasia to a Crustle with Rock Wrecker. Recently, I started another run of the same game in an attempt to do it legitimately, but so far, I still haven't gotten past Korrina
—signature not found—I was so scared of the final boss of Spider-Man (2000) that I don't think I actually beat it and had to switch to Kid Mode, which takes you to the ending cutscenes.
The Protomen enhanced my life.In the indie game Mago, I can't get past any of the Brutal Bonus Levels, the Cappy-Houses or whatever they're called. I know they're harder for a reason, but it feels like they should be doable, but I can't beat them even once. On top of that, although I've only fought two bosses so far, I've died several times to each one.
This game makes me feel inadequate, yet it's still so good.
Also, THOSE PENGUIN RACING LEVELS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
also, it needs a page here. perhaps I'll start one sometime

Sonic In X Minutes Infinite is best Infinite. Please check out the Adaptational Personality Change example I wrote for more info.I got roughly halfway through TOTK without knowing you could upgrade the Zonai batteries.
Also, earlier I had a massive 'forgot basic game mechanics' moment where I forgot you could make an updraft with a campfire and a pinecone and kept trying to build increasingly complicated Zonai devices to go up and they never worked as intended. Then when I finally did remember the fire trick, one usage was all it took.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I pretty much don't care about getting 100% Completion during my gaming sessions. The only games I've done this on are The Henry Stickmin Collection, Plants vs. Zombies, and Sonic Colors.
Currently Reading: N/AI don't think I've ever gotten 100% Completion on anything.
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysI think that’s pretty normal. I’d say the amount of games I’ve gotten 100% completion on, or even Over 100% Completion, is more odd.
SoundCloudI say on my troper page that I like to go for 100% in the games I play, and that's still true to an extent, but especially with how much content games have nowadays, it's not always practical. I think I got into my habit of going for 100% back when I was younger and didn't have as much control over how many games I was allowed to buy, and i wanted to get the most out of all of them.
Ever wanted to see the most inexplicably horrifying intro to a game ever?So I thought maybe I was ready to fight the final boss in TOTK and...I didn't make it anywhere near him and died horribly.
The Protomen enhanced my life.-comforting hugs-
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Only my Ditto is randomly generated (and Home can't tell).
I cheated at Death Wish (Blood), but I kinda needed to. There was an area I couldn't go to without dying because it was a lift I couldn't activate from the other side, so I fell down with god mode.
Not even stars last forever.I too have a bunch of genned Pokémon in Home.
Strangely, only a couple have been detected as abnormal (such as a shiny Raichu from Pearl).
I did have a couple that were not allowed to be transferred from Bank into Home, though (I had two Magikarp with blatantly hacked movesets).

Sometimes when I play Oddworld: Soulstorm, I don't immediately realize that I can possess enemies in certain areas, so I spend more time trying to sneak past them than necessary.
Oh, I believe in yesterday
