My issue with Gardevoir isn't the voice, it's the fact that they made her look fucking creepy with the more realistic designs.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?i like its voice and hd textures :c
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaCould someone link me a clip of Gardevoir's voice?
Now without any hindering background noise:
I myself am not particularly sure what the issue is since everybody aside from Milk Mon 1 and Milk Mon 2 are so consistently quiet (both here and in gameplay videos), but it is somewhat fair to say that the new voices in general sound rather generic.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyClean Gengar trailer.
Yeah, the victory quote atleast isn't nearly high-pitched enough to count as moe to me. I think it sounds more graceful and elegant, which fits Gardevoir pretty well. The battlecries sound more high-pitched, but that's to be expected. they sound more shouting-high-pitched than moe-high-pitched, if you know what I mean.

I really love how Lucario uses Bone Rush. Aura staffs ftw.
You know I just realized there are only two fighting types in the fighting game.
Three. There's Blaziken too.
Still not sure why they didn't just get that one out of the way while they were busy with Gengar.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI wonder if Mega Gengar will play slightly different from the standard one. It being a shadow rising up from the ground in a game where aerial attacks are a viable option seems like it would need to be addressed somehow.
Well, Mega Gengar does have legs IIRC. They are just super stubby.
yah there shouldn't be a problem with mega gengar jumping or getting launched. The pokedex won't let you turn its model to see underneath it, but it does have fingers (that you can see when it attacks) and legs (which you can only see if you switch it into battle; it drops from above like every mon other than diglett and dugtrio does).
Could you give me a link to the video with the actual annoying voice clip, then?
On the plus side, I think it might actually be doing some vague Pokemon Speak there, so there's a chance that they'll actually change the voice for the English version.

The one weird thing about Gardevoir is that it's gainaxing even though it completely lacks anything even resembling breasts in one of its win poses.
... does it count as Gainaxing if nothing actually jiggles?
... Its heart is in the right(?) place for it.
If only I could bring myself to appreciate it for what it is.
-solitary tear rolls down one cheek-
eh, her voice doesn't seem that bad to me. whenever I think "moe blob shit" I think of a much younger sounding voice.
Her voice isn't really what I imagined it to be, but, at least in my opinion, it could sound a whole lot worse.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."Yeah, I've heard worse "moo-ih moo-ih bulobby desu nyeeeeeeh" which usually sound like 12 year old girls on helium.
... Though a slightly autotuned 15 year old isn't much better.
I swear though, another trailer had Gardevoir sound less squeaky.
Moved handles because meh
As a side note, I like the touch of how they're using Magnemite.
