Maybe Zombonnie wants to reclaim them, and every time you fail to stop him, a new Animatronic joins the ranks.
Until you're facing the full, unbridled fury of the Fazbear Crew.
Or if the parts that were refashioned as other objects were still alive anyway and able to harm the player.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Considering that the trailer where they show Golden Bonnie looks like there's an earless Freddy right behind him, I feel more and more confident that more and more animatronics will be rebuilt as the final nights wear on.
At least, I assume this is going to be the last game. Outside of another prequel, I don't see where else this could go.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Cyberpunk FNAF game?
Oh wait, the fans have already made that (I even see some models floating around) so I guess that's out.
I imagine Scott would have to go with completely different animatronics entirely to do more of these games although either way Fan Dumb and Hate Dumb complains.

Wait, I take it back; I could see one other place this could go - if they had a remake of the first game where you weren't stuck in the guard room... but the AI was jacked up to be way more aggressive. You only wish you had two points of entry to guard against.
EDIT: And considering how much Fan Dumb came about because of how fast FNAF2 came around, let alone the third, I think he's probably just going to roll with it regardless.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Has anyone been on the FNAF website? I went on it recently and the Purple Man came out of nowhere and walked across the screen.
...Never going on there again.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.... *Goes immediately to Scott Games and waits*
If it's not on Scott Games, tell me.
I'm unable to check Scott's website on my work computer due to firewalls, and I can't check source code on my cell phone. Is there something in the source code that might make the purple man appear on the site? I know some creepy stuff popped up before when people looked at the site's coding.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Quickly skimmed through the source. Nothing there that would cause the Purple Man to appear.

I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Maybe it was the Wikia, heard it was an easter egg there, if you wait a while, the purple guy walks across the screen.
Does it happen on the mobile version of the wiki?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!What's this about cyberpunk models of the animatronics?
These are fanmade cyberpunk models based off of the drawings from this guy.

Those aren't cyberpunk at all. :(
Cyberpunk? Pfffthahahahahahahahah!!!
Huh okay.
There's a lot of "cyber" in those models, but not nearly enough "punk" to have the label of "cyberpunk."
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. They could fit into a cyberpunk setting, but they don't embody it in themselves, I think.
Hmmm....how about these fanmade concepts?
There isn't very many concepts tagged under cyberpunk or steampunk that I have seen so far.....
Dude, stop looking. It's not that important.
Just want to ask since there's kind of a lull right now; does anyone else not really like the idea of the animatronics being haunted?
It just seems like such a waste to me. As far as I know, deadly animatronics is a concept that, even if it's not one hundred percent original, it's at least very unique in the horror genre. And it seems really lame to go "No, actually, ghosts, quite possibly the most cliched monster in horror history, were behind everything this whole time".
I'm hoping Scott ends up doing something different, since he seems to like playing with people's expectations, and when you look at it the whole ghost theory seems to rely on "People died, it is horror, therefore there must be ghosts".
Personally, I think it'd be best if he doesn't explain it at all.
This is a delicate balancing act. But really, part of the horror is not knowing, precisely, what the hell is going on here. We know that children have been killed, we know the animatronics have always been 'quirky,' and we know there's one, possibly two, men in purple responsible for the murders. But there's so many unanswered questions.
How much horror is going to be left if this game just up and explains everything? I believe Yahtzee said likewise about the Condemned series. Now, at the same time, if Scott never explains anything, it'll leave us feeling cheated.
So what's best is likely to explain what happened in the past, but leave the question of what's going on now deliberately vague, and perhaps even contradictory. (Haunted? Malfunctioning facial recognition? Deliberate misprogramming?)
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.Scott has already given you the answer
"It's Me"
So the animatronics are haunted by Scott's ghost?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
I think the kids might influence the animatronics tendencies in the first game, aka whether they are aggressive (Bonnie), charging (Foxy), or stealthy (Freddy). In FNAF 2? It's possible that the animatronics are more....traumatized at time then anything else.
The Foxy mini-game and the one camera shot you can find of him moving in that game suggests Foxy might be....well messed up in the AI chip because he found 5 dead children in his own attraction. Freddy tries to save the kids from being killed by the Purple Man and it's very likely that the Marionette was the first kid to be killed by the Purple Man.
The old animatronics were also being fitted with the facial recognition system in FNAF 2 (The Toys already had the system of course and it's pretty much said that the day guard employee was caught messing with there systems).
As for being more then one animatronic in FNAF 3? Definitely, Golden Freddy or Old Freddy might still be active and the Marionette is definitely still active. We know Foxy is deactivated, Bonnie possibly is, and Chica is MIA. The Toys are obviously deactivated but Zombonnie seems to want them for something if that teaser image is literal
