Well, they're adrenaline junkies. They probably just chose what looked scariest to them. (Though why they didn't choose Chica or the Marionette is beyond me)
It's been 3000 years…Concerning the topic of Markiplier doing the new Phone Guy voice, I know it would be indulgent, but... It's a horror attraction, and judging from the various images, it's obvious the guys running the place now have no sense of subtlety. Assuming that if there is a new phone guy, and he's all part of the 'show', well, Mark would be perfect. Mark knows how to be fucking creepy when he wants to be.
Given that the guys running the attraction are probably Nightmare Fetishists, Mark would probably be able to pull off that attitude.
No kidding, just watch the Google IRL 'skit', he pulls off the 'creepy killer robot' role perfectly.
Replacing Phone Guy with Markipler ranks incredibly high on my list of things I'd absolutely hate to see happen in this franchise.
I don't get why people keep putting F Na F characters in Spongebob scenes, but it never stops being funny.

I don't know, I'm not sure it would be worst decision for the franchise, but it's definitely not the best choice because too many people know Makiplier's voice. Honestly, if story didn't prevent it, I'd prefer Scott to do the voice because I think he pulled off the tone for the phone messages perfectly. Sadly his ingame character is dead, so not much you can do about that......
Driven by rage, Phone Guy's son seeks to teach the new night guard how do destroy the company that killed his father. :P
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Or Phone Guy's ghost haunts the phone after his death {Which was an actual theory I heard for how he was still around in FNAF 2, back when the trailer first came out}.
Someone shared this in the Homestuck thread.
Okay, that completly caught me off guard. I thought for sure that it would be a very old decayed Golden Freddy....but instead it's a even more creepy old rotten Bonnie looking animatronic? That possibly was used by the Purple Man judging by it? This thing is also used in some new Fazbear scare house attraction? Along with it's likely deactivated and gutted successors?
I think Scott is trying to get the fandom to implode. The old animatronics and the new animatronics are looking to be deactivated and gutted for this new scare house attraction. Foxy does not even have any extra suits so it's likely that mounted head is his.
The Marionette and Golden Freddy are likely still around, the Toy Animatronics are still in good condition despite they are in pieces. The old animatronics might still be around but evidence points to not likely.

To be fair. Bonnie was the most terrifying of the first game. Perhaps Scott is capitalizing on that fact.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I mean I can kinda get that some people really don't like the idea that all their favorite animatronics have been gutted and mounted and fused into one massive uber horror -Who I call Frightful Freddie/Freddie Fright cause It wouldn't be five nights at Freddie's without a Freddie, so the things name is Freddie-
But to an extent isn't this what we wanted? To know the homicidal machines have been slain and dismantled. Yeah we got one left... but if the morons at Fazbear Frights are as dumb as I think they are... they propably ruined any chance at repairing the old ones when they played Frankenstein.
Its all about perspective◊ Right Foxy?

I am doubting that Mr. Twitchy here is the only animatronic. The Marionette and Golden Freddy are likely to still be around. Although admittedly one of the screenshots of Golden Bonnie seems to show Golden Freddy's torso and head strung up behind him. The Toy animatronics also seem to have some relevance to this considering it seems like Golden Bonnie wants there parts for some reason judging by it (and there parts still look like they are in good condition which is quite strange).
It's possible this Golden Bonnie was actually a really old animatronic suit of the original Bonnie from the first restaurant that somehow survived. Although judging by it's very possible that he was actually the suit used for the murders.....

Maybe it's just me, but a haunted house, that customers go to, based on the Fazbear franchise seems to have the same litigious potential as Jurassic Park. The Fazbear people had better have some good corporate lawyers.
I think the concept of these games is neat, but I haven't played em. I don't like the whole helpless schtick. I see something coming at me with murderous intent, I want to fight it. Same reason I didn't like Outlast.
I just realized something. This Zombonnie animatronic will likely be in free-roam mode scaring the patrons during the attraction.
So what happens if some kids go through the attraction? Some teenagers, pre-teens, or smaller kids manage to sneak in the attraction? Will the animatronic actually act friendly towards them? Or will it be actively malicious towards anyone because what ever Purple Guy did with it/to it?
There is quite a lot of questions to ask if Zombonnie actually wanders around when the attraction is running......

I'm in the same boat. The gameplay that prevents me from both fighting and flighting in a Fight or Flight situation is just too nerve-wrecking for me to play myself. I like to backseat play it, though, and watching every youtuber on the site scream and wet themselves from terror. I'm also deeply intrigued by the concept and the lore.
^^ ...Oh my god, that's it!
It's presumably late night, the perfect time for people to want to go to a haunting attraction. And with Zombot here out...
Maybe the "only one animatron" is just hiding the fact that some part of the gameplay is keeping Zombot away from patrons and not just yourself as the main way to spice up difficulty?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! The thing that has me paranoid is actually going way back to the original game's Night 1, particularly what Phone Guy says.. Maintenance mode... I know that we've long assumed that this was just a euphemism, but what if there actually is a legit "maintenance mode" setting where they try to perform upkeep on each other? For one, it'd be an easy excuse that people in the FNAF world would have for what's going on. But for another, if "maintenance mode" is real, what happens should the one working animatronic find a non-working animatronic?
My theory is this - part of the gameplay in FNAF3 will involve controlling more than just guard station doors - it'll also involve closing electronic doors in other parts of the haunted house to keep the animatronic from restoring other animatronics and thus operating solo. And whatever you do, don't let it get to Pirate's Cove.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Phone Guy never mentions any "maintenance mode" anywhere in the games. Even if he did, I'd place my bets more on it being a mode where the animatronics are safe to be worked on, rather than a programed in "Fix the others" mode.
The emergency maintenance mode is from that Fan video. Thats the only time its mention in that terminology.
What I wanna see is the 5988E's on those animatronics. AND the dispatches. Because for this level of malfunction, someone fucked up the PMCS.
Right, "maintenance mode" was a fanvid extrapolation of the fact that the animatronics move about to keep from locking up and the fact that the reason given for their attacks is that they're set to put a naked exoskeleton into a suit. A reasonable extrapolation, sure, but not officially canon.
Still, I could see the gameplay being built around trying to keep the active animatronics to a minimum while surviving against the one still surviving. It would be for an interesting twist on the formula.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. The whats and the ehs? I'm assuming that's some form of mechanical jargon that makes perfect sense to those in the know, but it's flying right over my (And I'm assuming most other people's here) head.
5988E and PMCS? Please explain.

Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.
Does it make sense for the new guy to be an amalgamation of different animatronic parts, though? I mean, Foxy, Freddy, and Bonnie's heads are on the walls, he definitely doesn't look like Chica, and the others are in the box in the room. Where's he getting his head from if he's being made from bits and pieces?
Speaking of which, I wonder what the toy versions are doing in a box instead of being used the same way as the others.
