Does Not Illustrate: Driven To Suicide

The current image◊ in the front page does not tell me that this person has killed himself, in fact he might actually just be hung by someone else. I personally think that the Western animation version◊ be moved to the front page as it fits the trope so much better.

The noose and the gun are ,however,the present image shows the trope so I don't think we need to change the image.

The one on the Western Animation subpage is stronger. It's also the only subpage with an image. I'd say either move the current one to the Anime & Manga subpage, or replace it with the one on the Western Animation subpage. Or maybe if absolutely necessary do both.

Is there a better quality version of the Western Animation pic?

Current's very good. The idea that the guy hanging alone from a tree, with his stuff neatly laid out was lynched instead of suicide is pretty silly.

That said, the Western Animation image is better... if it's higher quality. Unless we find a better looking version of that, I'd rather have the "not as good illustration, but much better quality" image on the main page.

For the western animation picture,I found no high quality replacement,only pictures which were larger and near identical in quality to the current one.

Of course you would be able to find a picture of Daisy Duck.

Current image is very good, and the stool and neatly laid out shoes put a lie to the "somebody else hung him" argument. That said, the Daisy Duck pic is also excellent. I'd be good putting them on their respective sub-pages.

It's easy with the right connections.

Current can go on the Anime & Manga page, which is imageless.

Moving the current to the Anime subpage and replacing the one on the Western Animation subpage with the better quality version suits me fine.

To me, the current image is okay, but I actually find it difficult to make out what the objects on the ground are. The Daisy Duck image is much clearer.

So is the general consensus just moving the front page pic to the anime subpage and leave the front pageless?

It might, but it's not as clear/obvious than the Daisy Duck suggestion. Not to mention it's quite blurry.

That, with a caption lampshading him trying to break the cycle, would be good for the Film subpage.

That one will need a caption - when I looked at the image, it looked like some kind of comedy to me.

I was thinking "After a few dozen iterations, you need something to break the monotony." or something along those lines.
