or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Sat Down.

Do you have a favorite chair, or seat, tropers?

Mine's a black faux leather office chair, and I'd always roll and trudge around on it. It was comfy and as soft as the softest sofa in the soft sofa store. Its wheel broke multiple times and, though I have always fixed her up good, I feels its time have come. I'll be furniture shopping soon, so recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Here we can discuss topics as related to chairs! Tell us about your favorite derrière-rest or just relate some amusing shenanigans.

I have a metal frame office chair that's surprisingly good. It's worn fairly heavily from years of use but unlike the last one I bought it hasn't broken yet.

My chair I usually sit in is a dark brown leather executive-style office chair that I inherited from my mom's former boss. It's nice because it has comfy padded arms and a high back and it swivels, plus there's enough room for my cat to sit on my lap while I stroke her head and plot global domination. evil grin

I don't usually care about the chair I'm sitting on because I usually tuck my legs up underneath me as I sit down to get comfortable, so it all feels the same. I only really sit normal in public when I have to look all proper and fancy

Floor.

If your butt hurts, you can roll around too. Or you can stop being an obsessive fanboy.

I hate sitting on the floor. I need back support, and I need my legs to at least have the option to not be at the same level as my butt.

My parents recently bought a "large man" recliner. I'm used to chairs giving me a contained feeling, but there's room to shift in this one. (My father leaves a third of the chair empty!) It's so soft and comfortable that I often fall asleep in it late at night. It's much better than my bed, but that's more commentary about my bed.
