I was actually wondering what day it was. I didn't see it specified anywhere so I kept it ambiguous but it'd be a good thing to know going forward. (Also what shape does this precise game take?)

Gameplay is divided into Days, and some days will come with their own Big Bad.
Play concentrates on both preparing for the tournament, and solving the murder mystery. Which will eventually coincide.
Day 1 is mostly preparative, and setting up Foreshadowing.
Day 1 is on a Tuesday.

So, we have a few pieces of evidence!
- -> The local Ring of Gaea stand in, Night District, basically everything Japanese Traditionalists fear.
- -> powerful businessman dead to what Mekimura says is a Zan spell.
- -> Policemen going after drugs in the Night District.
- -> Asa Hoshimaru...who could he be?
- -> And Ryoto, on the school front, coming back from...somewhere...on the bus.
