I assume he meant the movie itself, not the presentation.

The original script had a jab at Origins and Wham.

Out of curiosity, for people who read the leaked original script, how closely does the trailer stick to it? (Also, don't interpret this question as, "Please spoil everything for me!")

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.

There's two characters who weren't present in the original script (one of whom replaces someone that was in it) but otherwise it's mostly faithful.

Even the Rosie O'Donnell joke is based off a (slightly more offensive, decidedly more controversial) joke in the script.

Also the Stan Lee cameo is kind of random given that he had nothing to do with Deadpool.

There have been much talk about how Lee is pretty much the only Marvel creator that gets really acknowledged in the movies. Others might show up but Lee is always the one with the most focus.

IIRC, Chris Claremont got a cameo as a Senator in First Class, and Affleck's Daredevil had a Kevin Smith cameo plus references to Joe Quesada and John Romita.

Chris Claremont also showed up in X-Men: The Last Stand and Ed Brubaker showed up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The reason Stan Lee shows up in so many Marvel movies is because he's just co-created so many characters. Even in Guardians of the Galaxy, most of the characters were not created by him, so he said he wasn't going to have a cameo...but then he did, because it turned out Groot was co-created by him.

True, he had nothing whatsoever to do with Deadpool or his associated characters, but then again, this almost seems like a parody of his other cameos. Which fits in with the overall tone of the movie.

[up]Len Wein also had a really brief cameo in Days of Future Past.

They should lampshade Stan Lee being the only Marvel dude who gets cameo's in the movies by turning him into Roger, The Stan Lee Experience

It'd be non-sequitur as fuck but this is Deadpool so it'd fit anyways.

Stan Lee actually has a few Marvel films he never appeared in. Off the top of my head, the Blade Trilogy, X-Men 2, Electra, and X-Men Days of Future Past.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

I don't think he appeared in Howard the Duck either.

Edit: Or in any of the Punisher movies.

He didn't create Blade or Elektra, though, so really it's only those two X-Men films where his cameo was supposed to be.

I don't think he appeared in Howard the Duck either.

Actually, Howard the Duck came out way before any of the whole "Stan Lee makes a cameo" trend happened.

Why did it take so long for us to finally get a proper depiction of Deadpool in a movie? Like every other media Deadpool has been in we've gotten a proper portrayal of him but never in a movie.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!

I'm kind of bothered that Deadpool won't be Schizophrenic in the movie? Why make this change at all if you're going to be all out Deadpool?

And I've heard some suggestions that Deadpool will only be into the ladies in the film too and that catches me off too... Some of the best jokes are when he objectifies men!

Ah. Deadpool... I still remember your sexual harassment of Wolverine in the video game like it was yesterday! (It was yesterday!)

Deadpool was only made schizophrenic by Daniel Way during his run, completely ignoring everything before that. (Way also gave him Dissociative Identity Disorder on top of that.) And all the writers after Way have basically ignored that.
