...Kaneki is using his kakuja? Oh my....this is going to get really messy really fast....
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothArima: …645 times. Kaneki: ? Arima: That’s the number of times I’ve inflicted a fatal injury to you. Arima: And that is also the number of times that I’ve let you lived.

Were Touka and co just killed off? o.o

Holy shit, they were already in the compactor when Furuta activated it? But yeah, there's no way the whole rescue team just got killed off. I do wonder how they'll survive it though.
Seeing Kaneki trying to reattach his legs brings back memories of Claymore. Ah, nostalgia...
Also, if the date in the previous chapter was correct, the next day will be Kaneki and Arima's birthday. ...Happy birthday, guys?
Hmm. A field of flowers and Arima urging Kaneki to fight him with all he's got. All that's missing is a speech about how the enemies of today wont stay enemies in the future.

Seriously, what's up with Hirako? His lack of response to Sasaki's question about his (and everyone else's) opinion of Arima is kinda suspicious.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade. What did he say exactly?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie.""......"
I dunno, I found it amusing. I can buy that his personality really is just as bland as his looks. (Well, he's not entirely without depth, the question of what he really thinks about Arima is an interesting one. The closest thing we've seen is his "you gotta be kidding me" face in the flashback of Arima lecturing him. I wouldn't say he's suspicious, though.)
He also always seems constantly job-focused and standoffish, he might just not feel close enough to Sasaki to share his thoughts.
Ugh, someone keeps screwing with the YMMV page.
Sweet Polly Oliver and Bifauxnen cover the crossdressing women tropes, there's no need to state "Mutsuki is a girl" three times while erasing the other half of the argument. And adding lots of "LOL Tumblr" stuff. C.c;
To be completely honest, I will be so glad once this entire thing is over once and for all. Fan drama is a part of fandom, but this particular one seems to bring out the worst in people on all sides. u.u;

Not sure why someone would do that. YMMV edit wars are not tolerated around here
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothYeah, it seems really pointless.
On the bright side, at least this week's issue has mostly been people flailing about Arima vs Kaneki, and Furuta starting his pate business.
Though what I find funny is the people claiming all the queer stuff in the series is "lol Tumblr", when the Japanese fandom apparently suspects Ishida is a "sexual minority". I mean, Penisman is pretty filled to the brim with that kind of stuff, and some of it leaks into Tokyo Ghoul as well.

Seriously, anyone that hasn't read Penisman should. It's so bizarre.
Hard to believe the creator of our weekly suffering is the same dude that wrote a comic about a superhero with a penis for a head that has Bukkake as his finishing move.
So, is there no chapter this week?
Nope, not for any manga actually.
I believe its Golden Week or some kind of holiday.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The guy who made Hellsing was also the very same guy who made some sort of Hentai manga involving a overweight dude, tentacles, Seras, and Rip Van Winkle (although this was before Hellsing I think so those two might of had different names).
....That kind of thing is not unusual amongst artists.

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothYeah, it's Golden Week.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Week_%28Japan%29
Basically, there are several holidays clustered together, so they are celebrated as this one week where companies often shut down and employees take paid leave. So none of the manga companies are publishing their magazines, and the artists can have the week off to relax.
Ishida has been posting tweets about his vacation, hanging out with people in Tokyo and Nagoya. He seems to be having a good time.
Well that's nice. He deserves it especially for making such a wonderful series.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Oh right, I forgot it was the first week of May.
I just realised that out of the ghouls we've seen who have trouble using their kagune (Banjou, Gagi and Guge, possibly that huge clown that got Bujin'd), they all seem to be quite powerfully built. Maybe there's a correlation?
(Though on the flipside, there are ghouls with a lot of muscle but also no trouble using their kagune, like Jason.)
That's a good point. Though I suppose the mundane explanation would simply be that they compensate with physical strength to make up for lacking a kagune.
Banjou definitely doesn't match the Ukaku profile, that's for sure. His only real advantage is being able to take a beating, but he's slow and clumsy.
And our long wait ends. All aboard the feels train!
Ch. 75:
- Chapter Title: Egg of K.
- Furuta smirking over the carnage in the compactor room......until Eto's kakuja smashes the machines apart, screaming. She promises her editor won't go to waste, and tells Furuta she wants "seconds" from him. Furuta's face while he's screaming is priceless.
- Unseen by the V members, Eto's kakuja saves some of the ghouls inside the press machine. Banjou is confused about Eto saving them, but Ayato tells everyone to just take the chance to run.
- Kaneki and Arima's battle continues, he's struggling and gets torn up badly. Owl Quinque is a total BEAST that even Kaneki's regeneration can't keep up with.
- Headspace time! Kaneki is naked and sinking into darkness, but then Hide appears and teases him. Kaneki weeps hysterically and says he's lonely without Hide. More gentle teasing, then Hide discusses his current wish to "die in a cool way". Hide explains that his wish in helping Kaneki was for them to go on living together. He tells Kaneki not to throw away his life, and promises he will tell him as many times as necessary to live no matter what, even if it's uncool.
- Kaneki is still crying, but smiles with resolve as his hair goes white again.
