The armbreaker and the leglock-armbar are two different moves.
And it turns out that Urie disobeying orders an taking a detour for PROMOTIONS!!! was part of Matsuri "Total Party Kill" Washuu's keikaku.
And it seems that most/all of Big Madam's bodyguards/subordinates/pets are trained in the art of knife-throwing. Meaning Suzuya is not the only Knife Nut.

Because it's an organ transplant, and blood/tissue type determines compatibility. Dr. Kanou mentions it as a factor as well, since Rize is AB and so are all of the people he used for his experiments with her.
Ergo, Sasaki's kagune could only go to someone with AB blood type (Juuzou or Mutsuki, for example), because AB can only be transplanted into AB.
AB is the Universal Recipient, while O is the Universal Donor.
- A can receive from A or O.
- B can receive from B or O.
- AB can receive from A, B, AB, or O.
- O can only receive from O.

I was referring to the fact that organ transplant compatibility and blood type compatibility aren't quite the same thing. For kidney transplants it's a factor because of the heavy involvement in the circulatory system, but for other organs the situation can differ. Who knows what crazy mechanism a kagune would have.
Oh yes, I was surprised that Washuu apparently planned for Urie to disobey the order.
Close call for Shirazu's nuts in this chapter, too (would those grow back?). I wonder if maybe he thinks Nutcracker might not be able to actively control her traps - if so, he might be able to lure her into getting hit by one of them.

^ Well, since the kakuhou processes the RC cells in the blood and Dr. Kanou mentions blood type compatibility as a factor, it seems like it would be like a kidney transplant. (In fact, that is what Kaneki thought he'd had.)
And yeah, I find it ironic that Urie — the ambitious guy trying to use his squad — is getting used by Matsuri.
Hmm, that does make sense.
About time Urie got what was coming, at least. It's kind of both funny and sad that even on the brink of death, all he was thinking about is getting more credit.
I know some people are theorizing that Big Madam isn't trying to actually eat/kill him, but rather swallow him whole like Eto did to Yoshimura. (IE: Swallow whole, puke out later.)
I thought that was the obvious interpretation. The imagery is pretty much exactly the same.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Is Kaneki's mimicry of others conscious or subconscious?
Will we ever see Nishiki's full-powered kicks? What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.
It seems to be both, there are times when he mimics things intentionally, like that one bit during the Anteiku raid where he changed one of his kagune into a spring-like shape while a thought bubble that had the image of Tsukiyama in it, and then there are times when he copies someone without realizing it, like touching his chin when he's lying or hiding something, he got that from his mom. Nishiki calling him the "King Of The Fakes" was not inaccurate.
And Nishiki's full powered kicks are too beautiful for mortal eyes to witness.

"What I want, is your undying loyalty. Or the dying kind. The Green Goblin is nothing, if not flexible..."I've been thinking.
What was Eto's reasoning for telling Hinami that there was nothing she could do to help Kaneki (regardless of if it was true) and giving her the card in the first place?
We know at the end of TG, Hinami contacted 'Takatsuki' via the information on the card and ultimately ended up in Aogiri (there better be a flashback to how this happened).
But was that part of Eto's keikaku? 'Manipulating' Hinami into joining Aogiri? And why?
During Root A, in episode 3 (I think) as Houji and Seido walk out of the CCG building, Houji turns around and looks up at the building, as if there's something important there (in other stories that kind of scene is when the character 'senses' something, like somebody watching them). Was that one of the (many) dropped plot-lines in the season, like Shachi/the Twins/Kanou/Eto's interest in Kaneki? What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.
^ Yeah, the draft showed Kanou's lab but the anime dropped it. (Bad move, they shoulda dropped the Prison break and just done the lab stuff because it would have made more sense.)
not knowing if you guys care or not. their is a Tokyo ghoul rip off now
Does it have a name? I wish to see for myself
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.If it's another claim that Parasyte ripped off Tokyo Ghoul, I'm gonna laugh my old lady laughter.
Like how some people think that Arslan Senki is an Akatsuki no Yona rip-off.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!^ Wow, I hadn't seen that. That's really funny.
no the same are weak MC getting attack out in the street by supernatural human and was hospital the doctor don't say shit
Do you mean Happiness by Oshimi Shuuzo? That's more about vampires and clear metaphors for growing up than anything actually related to TG.
Happiness, huh? I'll have to check that out.
All joking aside, I take any "rip-off" claims with a grain of salt since common tropes like "turned into a monster" storylines are a classic pretty much as old as history.
(Peeking at it, it doesn't look like a TG rip-off. Transformation is a pretty common theme in Vampire lore/stories.)

Here's an interesting question for the future and I have always wondered about it ever since I saw Kaneki's half-kakuja.
Is Kaneki going to eventually be able to use a full kakuja? It's quite clear his kakuja is likely going to be a large scary looking centipede but I am just curious if we ever will see it in the future.
I imagine he might use it to fight Seidou or CCG if he ever turns on them (or Eto for all we know).
Come to think of it, we don't really know why some Ghouls develop Full Kakujas while others only develop Half Kakujas.
At first I thought it was simply a matter of quantity but now I'm unsure, since we have no idea if Yoshimura, Eto or Arata went through a transitional Half Kakuja phase or if they went straight from non-Kakuja to Full Kakuja.
Then again, the only known Half Kakujas were both mentally unstable (to varying degrees) before they began cannibalizing.
So maybe it's a mentality-based thing. Perhaps once Kaneki sorts out all his mental issues he would be able to develop a Full Kakuja.
Or perhaps he just needs to binge on eat more Ghouls.
Here is my an attempt at an Unlimited Blade Works parody.
- I am the Steel of my Quinque
- Rinkaku is my body and RC is blood
- I have formed over a thousand Kagunes
- Unknown to CCG, nor known to Aogiri
- Withstood Centipedes to devour many Ghouls
- Yet, those eyes will never read anything
- So as I pray, Unlimited Kakuja Works.
Chapter 28 Go Go! (Chinese scans are out)
- Takizawa runs up the side of the main building, dragging Sasaki along before throwing him down onto the stage. Through the roof, you know.
- Shirazu figures out where the Kagune traps are planted using his hearing, and forms a plan to take down Nutcracker. While Shirazu and Naoto fight her, Saiko trips one with her kagune and it impales Nutcracker. She recalls her childhood, and states she "only wanted to be pretty" before Shirazu finishes her off. He looks confused/sad over this.
- More Takizawa curbstomping Sasaki, who starts freaking — I think Takizawa is the one that says his real name? But he starts freaking out, basically rambling and getting more confused.
- Scarecrow is fiddling in another control room, and accidentally turns on the sound system in the main hall so EVERYONE can hear what is going on in there.
- Ayato and Naki fight some more, Miza is driven off by Akira.
- EVERYONE hears the broadcast, and start freaking out. Akira radios Matsuri and starts DEMANDING to know who Sasaki is fighting and he won't answer her. She looks absolutely furious and screams at him.
- Uta is seen removing his mask.
- Shirazu collapses, and Saiko goes over to the monitor. She looks horrified, while the final shot focuses on Hinami while there's screaming and laughter over the broadcast.
Man, shit is getting intense. Sasaki's/Kaneki's mother-figure, sister-figure and daughter-figure are all hearing him getting his ass brutally kicked. Saiko and Akira are freaking out visibly, and Hinami is no doubt doing the same, albeit internally. Although I guess Akira's also freaking out cos she recognizes the other voice on the speakers.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.
Oops. Actually, I remembered that Tsukiyama broke Kaneki's arm with a kick rather than a true armbar...but I just went to read the restaurant chapters again and found out Kaneki also used a kick against the scrapper. It's similar enough for them to become confused in memory...
