I haven't been. I was concerned that the American version wouldn't get that nice knife-edge balance between "Most people won't be able to do this" and "this is supposed to be doable, if you're good enough" that the Japanese designers found.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.It is pretty similar. I was watching "Mighty Kacy" earlier. That was pretty impressive.

Who watches the watchmen?Mr. b would like to participate in his ideal Ninja Warrior competition. It would be geared for those in later middle age and would include events like: getting the mail, harvesting the cucumbers, walking the dog, and unloading lumber, pavers or bags of mulch.
We would kick some ass. In between complaining about pain.

Who watches the watchmen?
Oh, somewhere in this favored land, the moon is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light;
And somewhere we're all laughing, and little children shout...
But there is no joy in Philly: all the Ninjas got knocked out.
Is anyone else watching American Ninja Warrior?
I avoided it at first because I loved the original Ninja Warrior so much. Since G4 has turned into the Esquire channel, the American version is the only Ninja Warrior around.
It was fun watching Kacy Catanzaro compete.
