The thing that really confuses me is the background of the shot. It looks like a regular living room infested by a forest.
I'm kinda thinking it could be from the show, but I don't know how this person could've got this screenshot if it is. This pic is quite the conundrum.

That makes sense. Though now I'm wondering the context of Star wearing Marco's Hoodie and Marco looking like a 80's nerd.
Like I said, I don't know how credible this is, but this could explain why people felt that animation looked sorta different. Hopefully if it is true the animation won't suffer too much.

Overall, I enjoy and feel entertained by Penn Zero more, TBH - but I've always felt Star Vs. had more potential, even though I'm not seeing it just yet. Maybe once it gets more of a story going...
But my opinions on either aside - this is just sad, now. That link, of course...
EDIT - the link is down... And yet seeing as I actually like the show these people are hating on over their precious show on topic - maybe that's for the best.

Like I said, I don't know how credible that comment was. It could be false. I think it's way too early anyway to think the show's gonna start dropping in quality, anyway. The animation didn't even look that bad in the next episode even if it is different.
All I'm trying to say is don't get too worried about the show already and try looking on the bright side.
