Sadly so, yes.
I can't decide whether both of them acting so nonchalant about it makes it more or less disturbing.
I get the feeling that they regularly have kinky sex every weekend.
Three hundred chapters from now, someone will refer to them as a couple and both Ban and Elaine will look at them in utter confusion because it turns out they actually view each other as siblings.
Creepy talk aside, what's next for the story.
Besides Ban, all the Sins should be appropriately strong enough to meaningfully contribute again, but contribute against what? What are the "Ten" Commandments move now, and what ushers in the next threat?

"with the love of his life back bans power level shot up tenfold because shut up"
Though to be fair he was fighting reasonably well against Galan so it's not like he'd have to get THAT much stronger.
Anyway, my guess is either the demon king powers up Zeldras or Estarossa somehow, breaks free entirely or the seal on the goddesses breaks. Cause I seriously doubt they're just tired or that they really sacrificed themselves for everyone like that to end a war that they started.
They are legitimately disembodied; in some extra pages Meliodas says that he's found others like Nerobasta and the one(s) in that horn in the castle dungeon, living in inanimate objects.
It'll be interesting to find out how they all apparently ended up that way though. There is probably more to it than they let on.

When they go and start possessing the people whose souls got eaten then or something.
spoilers and also take this with a grain of salt because its just my interpretation of the raws that came out today, Merlin is in love with Arthur and Escanor finds out. I guess he's going to end up face-heeling since he's the only one of the Sins who's named after a straight up villain in Arthurian mythos.
Are the villains that low on manpower they need a sin to turn heel?
Mileena MadnessGet someone your own age, damn it.
Secret SignatureTell that to everyone.
Well, to be fair, she only said he's her "Hope" which is rather vague, and can mean anything.
Yeah now that the chaps out its a little more clear. That being said I still think he might face-heel because, again, he's the only Sin named after a villain.
I suppose we'll see soon enough.
It'd be annoying for a Sin to go heel after we finally got the band back together, but I guess we'll have to see.
One Strip! One Strip!I have never seen Arthur and Merlin's relationship like that, and I still don't think that's what she necessarily meant. Escanor is obviously going to take it that way, though.
I'd say it would be stupid for Escanor to FaceβHeel Turn over this, especially since he doesn't know what she actually means, but given this series him turning and then turning back would probably be pretty simple.
I'd says it's more like he go with a more I Want My Beloved to Be Happy way though. I don't see Nakaba not hooking the two up eventually, but Elaine is apparently sticking around so what do I know.
Merlin and Escanor is a stupid pairing, so I'm sure Nakaba thinks it's adorable.
This Escanor thing is probably just an opportunity to make him all angsty for awhile like with Ban.
Anyway, he's really trying to sell Zeldris as the biggest threat to them and that's something I always figured would happen, but here's to hoping what he has in store can actually validate that hype.
Because when you have stuff like Meliodas already being his equal without demonic powers, and still not showing Escanor at his peak that makes that harder to take seriously.
He might be the only demon left active as well, so this will be an uphill climb for Zeldris.
Mileena MadnessThinking about it, what happens with Escanor could be less about him having a turn and just more to do with what I brought up a couple of days ago with what was originally implied about him: how he handles the situation can change depending on night and day, like everything with him.
So I just read the panty sidestory and it was...weird.
I guess it's better(?) that Ban didn't really seem turned on or to really care either way, but the odd fetish vibe and so many other people getting involved...yeah.
I guess the ending was kinda cute?

Oh, for fuck's sake, Escanor REALLY took Estarossa down for good?
Whatever gets Escanor out of this manga, I don't care. He sucks so much

Just because we haven't seen Estarossa again yet doesn't mean he's dead.
Merlin indicated Zeldris is the only one of the Ten left
I wasn't aware that she was omniscient.
So I was close!
