I get the impression this was before he was one of the Ten Commandments. Also that just seemed more like mind-control than anything else.
Chapter's out.
How very Diane she didn't choose at all, she ran. Or rather, I suppose the point is that sometimes running is the correct choice.
It works.
So Dolor basically did lose to the Demon King. Okay, on that front at least I'm satisfied.
I don't see how running would help in the slightest though. First of all, she was pinned and without her magic. Second, Zeldris should be much faster. If she got away, it's only because he let her go.
I think the point is, when faced with the option of dying right then and there, or joining them, she did the one thing no one would expect a giant to do and bolted. I would assume, just like with King, it ended before we saw the full consequences, but I'd assume Zeldris was either so surprised that a giant ran that he ended up not catching her, or he would have killed her while she was fleeing.
That's my guess, and it admittedly doesn't really answer your question...
Yeah. I'm not good at this.
One Strip! One Strip! Also, is it just me, or did Dolor basically run away from that fight too? Except he also threw some betrayal into it.
I would image that like with King, once Diane actually made her decision, what actually happened started to overlap with vision and forced her back.
Yeah, that is kind of stand out, though I think besides not wanting to die, what Zeldris said was also supposed to resonate with him. And here's how Diane and Drole are alike: they were both outcasts, if for different reasons.
You know, what Zeldris said here makes it seem that the Demon Clan's evil shenanigans are partially Then Let Me Be Evil, because it's what everyone expects from them anyway.
Yeah but no one is talking about that last page though.
But anyway, now that we know what's going on with them, neither of their stories paints a particularly story for their actions. And they said they did this because they wanted to know if they made the right choice or not but this trial didn't even accomplish that.
And I'm still wondering what role these two are supposed to play now that doesn't just make them seem really awkward in the story.
Probably dying soon to save Diane and King.
And to answer question, I didn't mention it because I honestly forgot about it almost immediately and didn't think of it again until you brought it up. That is how little King and Diane's relationship means to me.
Raw's out so spoilers.
Oslow is Law reincarnated, Gloxnia seems to fully Heel Face, King gets his wings (because of the power of love), the Sins reunite.

Evil Gowther was just a red herring
Mileena MadnessI figured that was going to be the case from the start.
Chapter's out.
So, yeah, he finally started growing wings like I figured.
Also, it's not the power of love. They started to grow before she kissed him.

So Gloxinia is like a good guy now, huh? I didn't expect any better to be honest.
How many Commandments are left at this rate anyway Two? Three?
Where did Drole go off to? Is his closure just not important? Does he decide to go back to the Ten Commandments, or is he just going to try and fight them on his own or something and get killed?
But at least they're all together now, for the first time in the series proper.
Four man the demons are screwed
Mileena MadnessChapter's out.
Drop kicks solve everything.
One Strip! One Strip!Poor Baratras.
At least he got to shock Mel.
Secret SignaturePoor Bartra. Nobody ever pays any attention to him.
And this thing about his commandment is interesting. It makes me wonder if the Demon King can't control what the commandments he hands out do. Or something. Which makes him sound subordinate to a larger system or greater being.

All through the chapter I've been thinking: Is it supposed to be night? Because it doesn't look like it's night, but for some reason Escanor is in his night form.
Also, wow Demon King is even more of a dick than you would think. "Here, have a Commandment. Now off to prison with you!"
Folks have been guessing that his glasses are acting as a limiter. They were from Merlin after all.
Secret SignatureMaybe he had to give it to someone. And since the commandment holder is always vulnerable to their own commandment it by definition had to be someone actually nice who got it.
Isn't Zeldris whole Commandment about how turning your back on him makes you swear loyalty immediately after? Maybe it's related to that.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
