Things are getting pretty intense. Gowther is seriously creeping me out now.
I assume he talked to Merlin because she's the magic expert and most of the rest of the group is crazy and unreliable. King is the other one who should probably be consulted as well but Meliodas realized he was in the middle of a romcom subplot and felt it wasn't the time. Oh, hey, maybe those two will go off on their own. There, now the group would be completely split apart except for Meliodas and Merlin.
Meh, Merlin is the best anyway.
Also, I can't ignore the fact that while they are taking their sweet-ass time to get going there is a mountain sized stone giant thing literally looming over Camelot. I guess it's like in video games and the cutscene won't start until they get there.
Also, they are making way too many preparations seeing as Merlin can teleport them to Camelot and back instantly.
Ban's strength continues to baffle me. Is it because he's immortal (for some reason) or just because?
Well, Dreyfus, Gilthunder and Hauser are shown to be pretty strong despite being normal humans. I figure Ban is just an exceptionally strong human, even before immortality.
I watched the episode. What was the point of all those rewrites?
Presumably to try to flesh out, um, Dale? so they can emphasize the connection to Guila. I preferred the story presenting Gowther as Armando though.
So did I. I guess they are trying to build foundation for Guila as a sympathetic character.
Also, watching this episode after this week's chapter was, well kinda weird feeling.
Hello giant pulsy demon man, can I please date your daughter? I promise I'll only brainwash my way into her bed and threaten to mindrape your son.

Do Gowther's speech bubbles look like they're getting distorted and less straight-edged? Someone pointed it out to me, but I'm not sure if it's true or if I'm just seeing it just because I heard someone say it? If it's real it's a nice touch.
I also hear that there are going to probably be one more major arc after this one.

Though I'm sure they're going to get to it eventually, it still strikes me as weird that they have had no serious discussion about Meliodas' demonness.
Yeah, there was Ban and King's little thing afte Meliodas' freak out at the festival and Ban just straight up asking him if he's part of the Demon Clan but none of it has actually gone anywhere. At this point Meliodas doesn't even seem to be attempting to hide it.
I mean, I'm expecting it to go the typical "We don't care what you are; we're your friends" spiel, but we haven't even gotten to that point yet, and it's strange.
Well, the Sins seem to be very reserved about their pasts. Remember Ban and King didn't know about their mutual connection to Elaine, even though King knew it was weird that Ban is immortal. And Elizabeth is the kind of girl that would keep loving Meliodas no matter what, so it makes sense she doesn't question it. So unless Meliodas decides to confess everything or the situation really calls for it, I don't think we should expect questions and answers in that matter.
Does anyone know why Escanor being a vampire is a big theory? I've heard it but I can't find the rationale for it.
One of the few monsters left I suppose.
One Strip! One Strip!i'd go with Werewolf(or lion) here.
Secret SignatureI think it's from a mistranslation or something. There's supposedly a bonus chapter bundled with the Blu-Ray release of the anime. The chapter will tell the story about the Sins' battle against the vampires in Edinburgh, and is said to be Escanor's first appearance in the manga. This somehow turned to "Escanor is a vampire".
It wouldn't surprise me if he was, honestly.
Episode. I also preferred the original version of Dale's death. Thanking Meliodas for a mercy kill is much better than thanking Gowther for filler material. It reinforces that Meliodas' decision was the right one.
As a sidenote, I doubt many Sins know too much on one another's past. After all, the chief rule for the Sins: No Sin shall ask of another's great sin
Chapter's out.
Well, that went to a dark place fast.
This has been building up for...a bit, but Gowther is all sorts of fucking scary.
Holy shit, I know Gowther was acting creepy, but this... Now I know why he needed that armor.
Any thoughts on what Merlin stole from Meliodas "for his own good" something to do with his demonic powers perhaps?

Dammit, Gowther is such a creep.
The manga took a weird turn ever since they saved the Kingdom. The sudden focus on feelings, the group breaking at the seams, Gowther just going full creep mode. Just weird.
How clever, should have expected that the opposing group will be called Ten Commandments.
On a side-note, Jericho is hilarious.
