You'd think they'd be more alarmed. Forgetting the fact that they all seem to genuinely be friends, two of your members apparently dead and another one unaccounted for should garner more of a response.

They clearly teamed up with the members they like.

Well yeah, but that doesn't really address my point. My point is, whether they like them or not, someone taking them out should be cause for alarm.

More to the point the fact that someone out there is strong enough to kill two of their members should put them on alert because someone out there is strong enough to kill two of their members. They can no longer just play around, confident in their ability to simply squash all opposition with ease.

Eh, this arc has been going to shit for some time now.

Also, apparently this series was number 2 in sales in Japan (sort of weird they don't wait to the end of the year for that but whatever) only second to One Piece.

So stuff happens.

And Four-arms just became a lot more important/good looking. So now the one I'm most interested in has gotten the least focus.

Interesting though it may be, I'm not sure I like this new development. Not really big on the whole "changing races" deal, even though I guess I have to acknowledge Hendrickson already showed clearly that was a possibility. Assuming that's what happened.

And Escanor's kind of ruined hype for me until we get a better read on his limits.

But anyway, thoughts on all the Sins meeting up at this tournament?

Good chapter. Matrona's kids (step-kids?) are painfully cute. The fat demon was also cute, I have to admit. I thought this last chapter too, but that dance that makes you "one with the Earth" is definitely a Chekhov's Gun.

So, any guesses on how/why Dolor became a demon?

By the way, the official translation says Galan and Merascylla were "beaten."

Yeah, in the raws he just said they were defeated.

Escanor is only useful for a certain amount and then he's just dead weight.

Well that's good meaning Mera might make a come back I mean the way she fell off that cliff brings to mind several dragging yourself out of your own death moments.

By the way, the giant demon's name is Dolor. Wonder if there's a connect to Dolores?

Dolores was probably named after Dolor. Things like that are fairly common in real life.

Well there's like a 99% chance that she's named for him.

Actually, the official translation uses "Drole," though.

Eh, Crunchyroll makes mistakes, though. Going by the whole Balor thing and how they're almost identical in katakana, Dolor is almost guaranteed to be the correct spelling.

They call Merascylla Melascula even though her name is almost definitely a reference to Nerscylla.

Shouldn't get too attached to any names actually, he's sort of like Kubo with that.

And the fact that he's a significant backstory figure means he likely won't be a Yammy, anyway.

So a lot of things have been set up already and more is very likely to come. Is there anything you're particularly interested/excited to get to?

Finding out what Merlin is and why the goddesses wanted Ban to kill Meliodas, I suppose? I'm less enthusiastic about this series than I used to be, so I can't muster up any interest in what's going on right now.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Dolor and how the humans came to call him by Balor.

Also questioning whether the early spoilers for this week are legit or not.

Yeah I wonder what Merlin's deal is since we have mysteries about the other sins.
