There are TRSes dating back to June 15 that haven't been approved and opened yet. Why such a backlog?

Link them here and I'll look through them.

[1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6] and [7]. I note that the two by crazysamaritan are about premature YKTTW launches by the same editor, and lakingsif's TRS has got some discussion page posts.

I'd requested a way for the mods to be auto-pinged about unopened threads a while back, but that's either been overlooked or put on the "to do" list.

1. Opened 2. Opened. 3. Needs a wickcheck and more work before it can be opened. 4. Should go to YKTTW Launch clean-up. Not TRS. 5. Ditto, and he even mentions that's where it should be. 6. Opened 7. Opened

I'm sorry for the trouble, ~Madrugada & ~shimaspawn, I had remembered Sept telling me that there was a time limitation on when a page could be handled via that thread. Since the launch was no longer recent, I thought that meant it had graduated to a TRS issue.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.

The handling of older mis-launched pages has been handed fairly inconsistently. I did recommend such courses of action earlier on, but now I just comment and move on.

The first thread is open now. The second thread, as mentioned upthread, needs a bit more information.

Methinks the issue with threads not being opened (or declared nonviable) is that the staff at times prefers not to make a decision Here And Now (for example, in order to wait for other threads to be wrapped up), but the thread approval system requires decision making Here And Now lest the holler being buried below other reports.
