It was claimed on the Useful Notes page for The '90s that very few TV series if at all got a home video release for most of the decade, and I think this was mentioned for Keep Circulating the Tapes as well. I did edit the former as this seems not to have been my experience so much, though do realise it was limited.
I can remember a lot of older British TV being released on VHS, and also quite a lot of Star Trek, including Voyager which I borrowed several tapes of (first season) from my uncle back when it was still pretty new.
Can anyone recall what TV series were released on VHS before the end of the decade, and can anyone clarify whether this wasn't much more of a feature of the American market due to syndication?
