And they look awfully similar. What is the difference between Genocide from the Inside, Bloodbath Villain Origin, and Where I Was Born and Razed? Because if I am understanding them correctly, it seems one could be cut.

Genocide from the Inside: Someone wipes out their entire people. It's a general villainy trope.

Bloodbath Villain Origin: A villain's origin involves a sudden flip-out and the killing of many. It's a villain origin trope.

Where I Was Born and Razed: Destroying one's homeplace. Also a general villainy trope.

Bloodbath Villain Origin is the most distinct from the other two. Just requires a general bloodbath as an origin story.

The difference I can spot between Genocide from the Inside and Where I Was Born and Razed is that the first is about killing the people and the latter about destroying the location. They also don't seem to require the trope to be about villains, as it seems like it could apply if a hero (who'd most likely be an Anti-Hero) who was born in an evil place, and tries to redeem himself by getting rid of the evil there. The latter also specifically includes accidents, though I'm not sure that applies to the former as well.

Naturally there's a great deal of overlap between the three.
