I'm really not sure how the picture of a prisoner illustrates "somehow who is opposed to violence". I suppose the point of the trope is "illustrated" in the text in the right panel, but even that barely relates to the trope.

And unless it's going against this wiki's policy, there are several good images from The Other Wiki's article on Pacifism. Here's one example..

Yeah, not crazy about the current, it's relying way too much on the text. I'm not really sold on the pics from [up], although the Vietnam protestor and the guy being carried by the policemen are the best of the lot.

"And unless it's going against this wiki's policy..."

Not at all. A good image is a good image.

The one example from 1 is good. I'm sure there are other options of hippies or the civil rights era. The current needs to go.

The flower shows a good gesture. Which is more than the current illustrates.

I know it's more text than illustration, but perhaps we could consider the second panel from this page of Attica? http://www.beyondrealitymedia.com/attica/issue-9/page-30/

That actually isn't bad. The other man's bloody hand in the foreground takes it out of "just text" territory for me.

But panels 1 and 2 on the previous page might be even better, since they show him refusing to even make the motion of beginning a violent action to save her

Though I really cannot see why we should use an extremely text-y image if we have other options that doesn't have any. 6 is very nice.

The only objection I have to either of the Attica suggestions is how they might look at wiki size.

One of the reasons I chose that particular panel of Attica is because it wouldn't need to be shrunk down in width for the wiki and so the text would still be legible.

I still like either of the flower suggestions.

Current is poor. 7 and 8's imagery contrasts too much with the trope for me, text or no. Both of the images in 1 are good, though.
