Well that's certainly one way to create some interesting in-character discussion.

Well, apparently that's what some people resort to when a GM's gone for an hour on a scheduled RP. It certainly made the GM laugh his ass off and the GM character flip his shit.

(Oh god, it's been almost a year, and I still laugh like a maniac over it.)

My God. What game was it?

...How was this about being for Brazil ?

It was an online playthrough—here on the forums—of Paranoia, and it was pretty stressful at times but really funny. It's just too bad that the GM accidentally gave us what was apparently an atypical mission and that we only ever got to play together that one time, because I'd love to do that again.

Aiyah, I've already been hearing word about riots and German fans at the game being told to wait so that security could escort them all out.

Woe is me. I can't give Sophie shit about Vanir being little wussy babies because we've all just met and it would be out of character.

I can, however, have Donna start giving Val a bit of an evil eye. ^^

"Why are you carrying around those eyeballs?"

"Well I can't just leave them in the car."

"How did you even get those past customs?!"

"Kept them in the cage with the wolf."

Oh, now you'd get Donna mad, implying that you might be keeping a wild wolf as a pet. (Wolves are her favorite animal.)

EDIT: By the way, Math, when you wake up, could you tell us who's supposed to be in control of our followers/familiars/guides?

You're in control of their actions etc, but if you would like me to characterise them I'll do that.

Oh by the way, how about a ballpark estimate of how powerful my followers can be, having two relics that came with them and all?

Well, with ghosts, they probably can't really interact with the mortal world all that much, but they can travel quickly, spread information fast, walk through walls, fly etc, and that's where most of their power is.

Woo! I will totally not use them as my spies and decoys! :D

Maaaaaaan, I was pulling for the Dutch.

I wanted the Dutch to win too, but I wasn't so invested in this one, so eh. My mom was stressing out over it, though, and she yanked me out of my room to help her watch.

Math, you know how you said in the sign-up that you would decide our abilities? Considering we're about to go into the battle, it would be kind of helpful if you could tell us them.

And I now officially hate Argentina. I'm with 3 and any other German supporters on this (I just saw his badge was a German flag). Go Germany!! (Now I've probably jinxed them though. Ah well.)

Guardian:

Vigil Brand: A Scion with the Guardian purview can lay a mark upon a person. If this person is ever in danger, you receive an intuitive warning, and you can identify the nature of that threat.

Aegis: Basically, the ability to reinforce another Scion's natural defenses. Making their skin harder and more resistant to attacks.

Ward: The ability to deny a specific named threat (for example: Frost Giants) from going through a specific area, like a house.

Sun:

Scions with the Sun purview can see even in complete darkness, can emit light from their body, either in a focused beam or as a golden halo. Finally, they can unleash a "flare" of bright light that temporarily blinds anyone who looks upon the flare, regardless of eye protection.

On top of this, they can speed up a fellow Scion's natural healing.

I just play characters of both genders (and my gender random generator, despite all my coding fixes, seems to be skewered to female)
