Work Pages Are A Free Launch means work pages can be launched without a YKTTW, not that work pages must be launched without a YKTTW. You'll find all the help you're asking for, and more, by starting the draft there. Other tropers will help fill in any missing information, including (especially?) coming up with examples.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I understand that Works Pages Are A Free Launch and that you can use YKTTW if you want to. I just didn't think that it would be the best place to start, judging by what the previously mentioned page advised. I suppose it would be worth a try, I was just under the impression that YKTTW was only for tropes. Thank you for the recommendation.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI went to the YKTTW page and began to start building my submission, but I am not sure of some things. The main one being: what does the "Laconic Version" section need?

I was looking under the Shoulder-Sized Dragon trope, when I realized that the Merlin's Dragon series was not listed on this site. I would like to add a page about it, but I have not the knowledge to do so.
I already looked at the How to Create a Work's Page ... page. I do not need help with that part (yet) but I need help with filling out the rest of the page. The tropes involved, the description, what would define spoilers, etc.
If anyone is familiar with the work, please help.
