Most of what I saw pointed to stuff like Troper Tales, the stuff P5 had to cut and/or clean, cases of Natter, the Nunnery and so on, it is mostly stuff we are embarassed about but it is still fresh in people's minds.
Anyways... we are getting kinda off-topic here.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!My parents haven't even heard of TV Tropes as far as I know. I'm pretty sure they'll yell at me for "wasting time on a pointless site" if they find out that I'm a troper. Don't get me wrong, they obviously let me have some time off, but they also know I'm horrible at controlling myself. As long as they don't know I'm a troper, they can't use it against me the way they use Facebook and YouTube against me now. I've heard "You've spent all day on Facebook and YouTube again, haven't you?" too many times and don't want to associate TV Tropes with it.
Another reason I plan not to reveal it is the fact that I have the same username everywhere, and if my parents figure out my TV Tropes handle, they'll also find out that I'm a Touhou fan (which I don't want them to know because they hate most Japanese stuff) and that I sometimes make Touhou-like scripts in Touhou Danmakufu (another "pointless waste of time").
My sister knows I'm a troper. I let it slip that I was an active contributor, and she wouldn't stop asking what my username was. Eventually, to make the nagging stop, I agreed to tell her as long as she didn't tell anyone else. She wasn't that interested in TV Tropes anyway, and she usually keeps secrets.

Can't see why, really. OK, it's been said it ruins your life - mostly in an hours lost wikiwalking and you'll never look at media the same again manner, but really, this is one of the more wholesome sites out there.
What're we doing here? We're discussing the basic tools of media, analysing them, assisting each other in writing various things, educating ourselves and each other.
Hell's Teeth, more people should do this. Or at least frequent other sites that also promote thinking, creativity, community spirit, education, critical thought etc.
