Poor Image: Japan Takes Over The World

Listed as Poor Image because we don't have an "Unfortunate Implications" reason for listing (maybe we need one, for images like this).

The Battle Flag used in the image is one that is almost exclusively used by Japanese nativist/nationalist/racist and fascist groups as an identifying and recruiting symbol as of The New '10s. (The band Loudness uses it in their iconography, but they're pretty much the only non-fascists that use that flag straight anymore). Having it as the page image may illustrate the trope, but it does so in a way that is almost as bad as a trope page related to modern Germany having a swastika or Hitler iconography as its illustrative symbol.

My suggestion is to replace the Battle Flag with the current Rising Sun flag (e.g. the one with whitespace instead of stripes) for a quick solution, or to pick an image from one of the works depicting the trope.

Declining to open. Not only is this a really shaky/needlessly PC justification for a thread, the current image was chosen by a previous IP thread, and handily at that.
