I have updated the manual some, and will be including information on Elementals and Echoes (stuff like literal split personalities, remaining memories with physical form, etc) later. I'll also make a list of some Gifts later on, but anyone interested in having one can basically design their own. In addition, does anyone have an opinion or idea on how they want the RP to start off?

Okay, this is not at all canon but the core being a massive magma dragon robot thing sounds awesome right? By the way, most non-human entities are artificially created. So only humans and things like cats/bugs/trees/etc are natural on Earth. In addition, I would say some creatures (like Slimes for example) can be either Golem or Humonculi if not both.
Besides that, I think I'll open the RP with one general thing and then several smaller sections regarding where a specific character is (like stuff about the Tento Project that would be important/relevant).
Speaking of, anyone want their characters to know each other starting off?

Random, but a robot dragon thing as the Earth's core certainly sounds pretty cool...
I don't really mind if she knows any of the other characters at the start but since Nick's works with the Tento Project she would probably at least know of him.

Given what Richter does, and how he does it, they probably are not on good terms.

Well I was waiting for everyone to post here, so... Tomorrow for sure. Might even decide to have that mean only a few hours, but it depends. Figured I would do a little more listing of characters (so I have a defined list) before making the update. Speaking of the manual being incomplete, have any opinions on what should be included (such as new information or expand on existing sections)? I also keep meaning to include a thing about Magic and Souls...

Well, would of preferred specifics like "Add more details on Humonculi!" or "Explain about Magitek!" Besides that, what do you and Nick think of both your stories briefly starting off with a Beast-Type Production Tento getting dragged off? Currently I see no reason the two of your characters would work together, so you'll need to help me out with weaving the story. I'm not exactly very good on my own, which is I like G Ming.

Sounds fine to me, I suppose - Do you mean we are dragging the prototype-beast-tento-dude off to someplace or preventing another force from dragging him off or what?
I think definitely more details on how Magitek, souls and general magic work would be useful... Maybe explain how homunculi and eldrictians express their mutagenic properties. I'll read through it all again and have a think, just a little busy trying to learn Analytical and Forensic Chemistry before tomorrow morning's exam. 
I truly am an amazing, organised student.
EDIT: Maybe more on SERVE facilities and programs or regulations?

Thought he might of been too much to start with, but that gives me an idea. What about some people at the Tento Project are unwittingly carrying modified Golem Cores, which (because of a time-delayed effect or such) ends up killing them and making them into a meat puppet for the Core. These Golems then seek out the area containing all the dangerous Tentos, with the intent of releasing them so their master(s) can later collect them.
Magitek would actually just be magically powered technology (like a flamethrower using a diminutive Golem-Type Elemental as an example, or a Gifted weaving magic into the creation of otherwise mundane tech). Its really only useful for non-magic users that want to truly defy physics, or at the least cheat when making an otherwise mundane item (like making a simple gun that happens to fire lasers instead of having to make a mundane laser gun).
Besides that, my sister pretty much spent the whole day working on a project and I only had the Playstation to use the internet with. Typing takes way too long on it, so I didn't want to bother. I also realize saying "The update will be soon" quickly ends badly when one doesn't update, so sorry about that.
Well Nick's character is the only one who would really need to know for now, but that would be important.

Ooh, I like that sound of that. Very interesting, and I love body horror when it comes to meat puppets/flesh golems.
I figured, but it's always nice to make sure exactly what everything means/does in the context of a new universe.

I'm a bit too focused on adding World Information and characters to the Database, so it'll be a few more days until I start the RP. Though only three people is a rather bad start, so I'll want to expand the manual to make up for that. By the way, some of the new sections (Revenants, Weres, and Zombies specifically) don't look too stupid do they?

Seems he hasn't been on for thirteen days, so that's a problem. Though I'll probably start up the RP once Nick gives his opinions about the flesh golems thing.
By the way, if you have any questions please go absolutely nuts with them. I'm also considering adding a list for Historical Events and Notable Locations to the manual. Oh, and some characters listed in the original version (like Ryan Steele) won't be added to the database since they're not intended to pop-up during Prototype Life. If I ever get around to setting other R Ps in the Vitality Underground universe, then I'll add them as required.
Besides that, I wonder how tropey the manual alone is...

Ah yes, I approve of these flesh golems. On a side note, I could bring a certain duo of characters into this rp as experts on killing eldritchians.

They haven't actually progressed to war yet, or even official attempts of diplomacy for that matter. The majority of Eldritichians that have been to Earth are exiles or randomly curious folk, and its only been twenty-four years since SERVE recognized they were an actual species (prior to that Eldritichians were considered the result of magical experiments, such as Magic OWA abuse or a Humonculus ritual gone wrong for example).
Though their half-Eldritichian offspring and those mutated by them make up one half of the Fair Folk as well as various other things. So more general "Monster Killers" would be preferred.

For those who didn't see the Sign-Ups first, Prototype Life is basically an RP about the "behind-the-scenes" details of an alternate Earth with magic and whatnot (specifically as a member of the order that keeps it behind the scenes). Yes that sounds cliche, but I hope it will be enjoyable enough anyways. For those already taking part in the RP, try to keep all your post-application posts in here.
