Last night, I not only got back up to B- Rank, but managed to reach B Rank!
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever. We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Hope I have one by then.
Also, doesn't this mean that the game will be pretty early? The last testfire was only a short time before the first game came out.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectTime to wreck Rollers once more.
I'm feeling a little more confident that this will be out in June now. A Testfire already hopefully means that they've got almost everything ready and just need to balance and tweak things.
It would be nice for a Nintendo game to launch early in its release window instead of at the ass-end of it.
The Splatoon producer confirmed there will be no returning special weapons in 2 due to, in part, the new controls and the desire to "reset" the playing field a bit.
The new specials will be a combination of reworked old specials that were in the first game and new stuff.
Also, hairstyles and pants/bottoms are just for style reasons. They don't affect abilities.

Hey, sometimes that's all you need. I think people were slightly bummed that there weren't any purely stylish options in the first game, since you had to be concerned with stats and such.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI just want the ability to dress my Inkling however I want and not worry about abilities when doing so.
Well, now you kind of can.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI just want some pants, a decent pair of... what's that noise? Oh god it's the Over Used Joke Police! They're taking me away! AHHHHHHH!
In other news, I had the weirdest lag moment. Ok, so you know how when a match is about to start, you get a birds eye view of the map followed by you seeing both teams spawning in? Well, I had a moment where the birds eye view scene lasted longer than normal followed by the game starting the match just as my team was spawning in. I didn't even get to see the other team. Just, birds eye view and "GAME START! ...What do you mean your team is just now arriving?!"

We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.I'll be honest, I kinda wish they had gone with badges for the skills instead of keeping them tied to hats, shirts and kicks.
Make said badges show up as flair on certain tops and all that.
I sure said that!Still keeping my fingers crossed for coop play, or perhaps AI battling.
Local co-op via multisystem wireless play will definitely be a thing.
I'm hoping there'll be splitscreen co-op for the game when the console is docked, too.
I sure said that!I hope for single-cart download play (like spawn copy local multiplayer).
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Okay, I just had the most ridiculous plat zone match ever. The final score? 87-91.
Reaction Image RepositoryDo elaborate?
I... how did I win? My score was ~5x to my teammates' scores. I was sitting at ~1500p to everyone's ~300p.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. It was a splat zone match on Piranha Pit and the teams were probably the most evenly matched than any other one I've been in. The match was probably three minutes in before anybody captured the zones, and it was swapping back and forth between the teams every few seconds. Like the longest duration that any one team controlled both zones was maybe like four seconds, tops.
It was just bizarre because I've never had a match that was that tightly contested and low-scoring.

Reaction Image RepositoryThat's awesome. I love seeing low-scoring games thanks to how well everyone is playing.

Hey No Limit. Here's that Overwatch fan art you never asked for.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Yeah, it was a really fun match. Most of them tend to have large point swings at some point, so it was cool to have a match that was tightly contested the whole way through.
