The splatzone tourney will take place during my Thanksgiving break. If I wasn't heading down to see my sister, I probably give it a go.

Anyway, I was playing a round of splatzones when I suddenly had a flashback. I saw three golden aerosprays on the same team. Then I realized I wasn't flashing back at all.

The tournament looks cool, but I probably won't have time to do it around then.

You know, I find it hilarious that western gamers made fun of Splatoon being an esport in the Switch reveal teaser when it's super big in Japan.

Splatoon has to be one of the most, if not the most, well-recieved shooters that have every reached Japan, right?

It's the best selling shooter of all time in Japan. The closest ones are Resident Evil 6 and Metal Gear Solid 3 around 800K if you count them as shooters. If talking about competitive shooters, then one of the Call of Dutys at 350K. Splatoon is around 1.5 million at retail and around 1.8 million with digital.

So yeah, it has the slightest of edges over the competition over there. Damn.

Felt like coming back to this and trying something new. Never was a big fan of the Mini Splatling or the Disruptor, but with the Zink Mini Splatling they actually work rather well together. The Disruptor slows down the enemy, and the Splatling will still have enough charge to kill them. Plus it winds up fast. And it comes with the Bubbler, which is always helpful.

The Disruptor isn't supposed to do damage, right?

Because I had many times with Rapid Blaster Pro Deco that after a Disruptor hit, one hit krills have been the result.

Unless Disruptors drop defence, but even stacking Attack Ups doesn't let you splat an enemy in less hits than normal.

Disruptors definitely drop defences.

Well increase the damage taken but that's about the same.

Wellp, time to set up a private match with one team having a Disruptor user, the lowest damage-per-hit weapon with maxed out Attack and the same but with no Attack.

And the other team having one guy with maxed out Defence and another without any.

FOR SCIENCE!

Y'know, I've never checked to see if the Disruptor debuffs the dummy targets at Sheldon's range.

Fought back into A+ today, though i think i could have done better with a shorter-range weapon like the Luna Blaster Neo.
