The first Amiibo I picked up was the Inkling Girl, then later Funz Centre had the Inkling Boy and Squid in stock at lower prices so I snapped them up fast.
Also I got the Splatoon gamedisc before I got me my Wii U
Also I want Nintendo to pay mad respect to Kojima by putting in a FOX brand set of Metal Gear costume parts into the game, like the Infinity Bandana (with Ink Saver Main), Ocelet Coat, and the Sneaking Suit/Boots (Suit has Cold-blooded, Boots have Bomb Sniffer).

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! So basically "Pick your favorite Squid Sister?"
Reaction Image Repository@JT: Players have been choosing their Splatfest that way for a while now :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!... Do either of 'em speak in the Kansai Regional Accent? Or would that be too appropriate?

I sure said that! How would an Inkling sound like if they did try to affect Kansai-ben anyway?
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Well, based entirely on second-hand references, it sounds a bit like someone with a very strong Boston or New Jersey accent speaking Japanese and using some alternate lingo.
I sure said that!Finished all the Inkling Girl Amiibo challenges, and got my school-girl outfit!(So happy I managed to find a 3-pack).
And by god the final boss with the charger was difficult, but I managed to do it on my first try anyway. Can't wait to do it with the roller.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeHero Charger vs the final boss was tricky, but it was more because it takes more work to cover the ground in my ink than with other weapons.
Hero Roller vs the final boss is fun. Hard, but fun.
The Kraken vs the final boss should be pretty cakewalk.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I annotated the deep meanings behind that Squid Kid jingle thing. Take a look at it, if you like.
Apparently the Squid Sisters are named Ayo and Oly in the French translation. Aioli is a sauce that is typically served with seafood(Squid).
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! That's pretty smart.
My local gourmet burger place serves Aioli with their fries.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe Squid Sisters are appropriately horrified by the existence of squid sashimi
/v/ has gotten some details on the Japan Splatfest:
Rough translation, moon experts, please correct if wrong.
Callie: Hey, hey I have been thinking…
Marie: What?
Callie: Which of us is the "Boke" in Squid Sisters?
Marie: Isn't it obvious that I am the "Tsukkomi"!
Callie: Eh! But I am not a "Boke"!
Marie: Then, Callie, which one are you?
Callie: I am a girl! (Sorry this part I am not sure what she is referring to)
Marie: Now then, who is the "Tsukkomi"?

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I think Callie is mistaking "Boke" for "Boku". But yeah that makes Callie still the Boke in that coversation.

My Deviant Art account. There might be art there. Sometimes. It's scary how good a Japanese player can be when even just test-driving a new weapon like that.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Just trying out the mini splatling and...
Oh. OH. Oh yes. Oh, I think I could get used to this.
It's got less range than the Heavy Splatling though, so you can't do suppression control in Splat Zones. Still, all that mobility and Squiffer/Bamboozler-tier charging is great.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I prolly make a better boke
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I like it because it's got a lot less downtime between bursts. So it's more of a brawler to the heavy's pseudo sniper.
It's a pity this one won't be international- While the specifics of manzai are Japanese, the straightman-goofball dichotomy is one of the most universal aspects of comedy the world over.
I sure said that!I could easily see them tweaking it to be a "Straight Man vs. Goofball" type thing. Also, I still haven't tried the mini splatling. I need to get on that.
And I'd probably be the Tsukkomi. I do have my ridiculous moments, but on the whole I tend to more snark at other people. Heck, I remember in High School me and a friend made a video presentation for one of our classes that inadvertently followed the Boke and Tsukkomi Routine.

Reaction Image RepositoryWell, that was easy. I am back at S rank again. So I guess the lesson here is; S fight sucks but A+ fights are fine? Alright, whatever.
The last fight was amusing. It's overtime and the enemy has the rainmaker. The rainmaker holder and a player with an unused kraken are approaching. I start to shoot at them and the kraken player transforms. I think that move screwed his team over. My guess is that kraken's hitbox is much short vertically which allowed me to fire at the rainmaker and win. Oops.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.I had forgotten how much I love the Splattershot Pro, it's so great.
Maybe you're just better than the average A+ rank
So I'm an S- then?
Now that I think about it, why isn't there an S- rank when the other letters have them?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.
Speaking of which, I got stupid lucky and scored an unopened imported Squid amiibo from an online seller who didn't know how to set reserve prices or advertise for $10 and found an Inkling Girl at a major retailer going for the same. Daisy's still being shipped and processed, but I just finished Orange's missions.
I sure said that!
