Don't insert your cultural agendas in your translations, kids. Just...don't.

You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.

Three things: a) that's a reference that will be dated within a few years at most b) I could sort of understand if the line referred to creepy dudes or something, but it's about how Anzu is older than Shingo and demands respect, which could be pretty easily translated c) making these kinds of drastic changes betrays a lack of respect for the work and its author – "it's just a sex comedy, I don't need to take it seriously."

Last episode of the anime is up. The show ended on Chapter 81 like I thought it would.

[up]I had a feeling that it would end with Kate too. I didn't think though that they'd go all the way and show the USG getting sent to the prison.

At least now we know for sure that there will be a follow up Anime.

Well they won't be lacking on material to adapt. There's a good 100+ chapters they can use for season 2.

Technically that ended on chapter 89. That was a surprisingly dark way to end the series. Sequel-hook I guess, but you never know with anime these days. I've seen quite a few series that have ended with a sequel-hook, and then have no followup. So I'm hope the series does well enough to justify one.

Meiko will star in a Prison School spin-off

This year's eighth issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd announced on Wednesday that manga creator Re Drop (Natsu Koi) will launch Fukukaichō wa Ganbaru (The Vice President is Doing Her Best), a spinoff manga of Akira Hiramoto's Prison School manga, in the next issue on August 6. The manga will have a color opening page.

North American publisher Yen Press publishes Hiramoto's main Prison School manga for North America, and it describes the series:

Hachimitsu Private Academy was a revered and elite all-girls' boarding school on the outskirts of Tokyo...once upon a time. But with the new school year comes a revision to school policy: Boys are to be admitted into the student body for the first time ever. But on his first day at Hachimitsu, Kiyoshi Fujino discovers that he's one of only five boys enrolled at the school. Their numbers overwhelmed by the thousand girls in the student body, is it heaven or hell that awaits these five (un)fortunates?! Hiramoto launched the manga in Kodansha's Young Magazine in February 2011, and Kodansha published the manga's 21st volume on June 6. Yen Press published the manga's third English volume on March 22. The manga won the Best General Manga award alongside Yūji Moritaka and Keiji Adachi's Gurazeni manga at Kodansha's 37th Annual Manga Awards in 2013. As of December, the manga has more than 7.5 million copies in print.

The 12-episode television anime adaptation premiered in July 2015, and Funimation streamed the anime with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and also streamed the series with an English broadcast dub. A live-action television series adaptation premiered in Japan on October 25.

The manga also received an original anime DVD (OAD) bundled with the manga's 19th Japanese volume on March 4.

[up] Basically everyone more or less get their happy endings except for Kiyoshi. All the other guys get their girlfriends, Mari decided to travel outside of the country to broaden her perspective, Hana launches a torpedo at Kiyoshi and Chiyo's relationship and gets pissed on again.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread for a comment, but I finally started reading Prison School, and that scene where Shiraki was straddling the toy horse and whipping it with the riding crop was just...fucking weird man.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

It's a wild ride for sure. Beware of a massive Arc Fatigue near the end of the story though. You'll know when you get to it.
