Instead of simply making an entry, I decided to make a thread. How many of you are aware of this WONDERFUL post punk band? They started in 1980, refused to go under throughout the years, lost a member or two along the way, but are still going strong to this day, with a new album on the way.

Judging by their sound, I think you might like The Chameleons, at least their earlier work. Although these fellows are certainly enjoyable, particularly the build on "Sleep (Is For Everyone)".

Really, there should be a general post-punk period topic. Most of my favourite bands sprung up then, after all...

I was beginning to lose hope (after 3 days, so soon). Alternative bands from the 80s don't seem to get any love around here.

I think this is a very competent music video, despite its limitations.
