Shirou vs Gilgamesh is my favorite.
Hm...I wonder, could one Reality Marble overwrite another?
That's hasn't been concretely answered but what we know:
R Ms work on World Egg Theory at swapping out reality of Gaia with the image of their own.
SERAPH on the Moon Cell is a collection of R Ms and we can do UBW there and Alice
Melty Blood has White Len trapping Arcueid in her RM, cutting off support from Gaia until Arc goes lol and smashes it anyway by forcing power from the outside.
So we don't exactly know about how opposing R Ms interact with each other. Extella might have something but idk. You can smash a RM from the outside with enough power.
It's never come up in canon, but I would guess it depends on the relative mana reserves and willpower of the two RM users. The stronger of the two would override the weaker.
May also depend if they're attempting to work with or against each other. Because I just had the image of Iskander's army arming themelves with EMIYA's (or Shirou's) arsenal of Noble Phantasms via UBW.
Dude that would be awesome.
They get like the best swords & weapons possible.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And then Gilgamesh still murders them in five seconds.
One Strip! One Strip! So, say, Golem Keter Malkuth could overwrite Iskander's own Ionian Hetairoi Reality Marble with his own Paradise one.
Though that leaves the question of whether or not its effect would still take place until Iskander's Marble broke and then would have to start over again or something >.>
That's a good question.
Because Adam is a pretty powerful Noble Phantasm that does still take time to get full effect.
So maybe another RM would slow it down more.
Maybe.
Remind me, how long does it take for its Reality Marble to take effect before the golem becomes invincible and whatnot?
I forgot what Apocrypha said, maybe hours before it became functionally invincible.
Yeah, most likely.
Oh boy xD
Still waiting for the Fate/Apocrypha anime though -_-
Nevermind, that's coming out in July apparently.
Can someone re-explain the ending of the anime version of Unlimited Blade Works?
Why was the last scene from Archer-Emiya's future?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Hooboy
Alright. So this is what was supposed to happen.
Nasu wrote in script notes that he wants the ending scene to be Shirou walking the metaphorical path that Archer did as the desert scene with the footprints. He gets to the same spot as Archer, stops, small smile, and then MOVES FORWARD to signify the whole point of UBW where he won't give in. For even more SUBTLETY, you might even have a hazy image of Archer looking on as if he approves.
Nasu even writes this is the one scene he doesn't want the anime to flub.
so ufo fucked up.
Type Moon is hard
I take it as a sign he won't get fucked up at that point but rather further along the line, but then I'm a cynical.
Apparently that's a nope.
- shrugs*
Just want to say...[=*=] is *.
Anyhow, UBW Shirou goes along the same path, but this time he has the emotional support of Rin, wasn't that the point? I'm really rusty.
Thanks.
Having support in the form of Rin is healthy but won't stop him from his path. But there is virtually no chance of Shirou turning into Archer in any of the three routes.
Herc's battle with Gil was pretty cool. Amazing how both Berserkers had a rivalry with Gil somehow. Is that why Urobuchi wrote Kariya as hating Tokiomi, so Lancelot would have a reason for challenging Gilgamesh?
Ya know if Strange Fake ever gets adapted, I really wanna see True-Herc vs. Gilgamesh.
Also I think the only person that knew Kerry truly intimately was Irie. If the second Ending is any indication he apparently broke down sobbing to her at least once. Even during Lancer's suicide she understood why he did it but like Saber did not approve of his actions.
