The way I do it, Citadel is basically an intermission between the lighter and darker parts of the game.
I do save the party for later, but the actual main mission I do right after Rannoch.
I'm very anal about the order I do the DLC in. Omega is right after the Citadel coup, Citadel is right after Rannoch, and Leviathan is after Thessia.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I haven't played Citadel yet, but considering everything in it I'd save it for the last Point of No Return.
I read about how I was best off doing Citadel after Horizon on the off chance that Miranda survives the ordeal so that I could have everyone there. So I'll hold off on Citadel.
Miranda survives quite easily if you remember to talk to her, warning her and giving her intel.
However, guess it compensates for how hard it is to have her die in the Suicide Mission.
The thing is, Citadel is split into two parts, and you can save the latter part for later.
It doesn't matter when you do the first part, as long as it's after Rannoch, cause no one but your actual crew appears.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Well I think I read the Kai Leng dossier email and talked to Miranda on vidcomms. I think I warned her about it. Then I did the scene in the apartment and forgave her for her whole control chip thing. So I think she should be fine.
Did you agree to give her Alliance resources?
Oh God! Natural light!Hell yeah I did. Maybe I'm not exactly keen on Miri but she did resurrect me. I owe her a fair few.
EDIT: And I did Leviathan! :D
Probably gonna do Thessia next time I fire up ME 3.

I liked the Leviathan DLC. There was some fun gameplay, at the very least. The mining station was really creepy and cool. The planet filled with Harvesters was simple, but had a neat atmosphere, with all the Harvesters. And then the Leviathan planet had intense fighting.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I LOVED the Leviathan planet. It reminded me of MGS 2's Tanker chapter with those ship-like things and the rain fall. That time I had James and Javik with me since Javik would be all over the idea of a Reaper killer. And I became familiar with the applications of tungsten.
Got into my Adept Male!Shep playthrough in ME 1 as well. I'm kicking ass. I did Therum and Feros again and I got his Bastion class so I could have a Stasis moed that allows damage. And I named and modelled him sort of after Lloyd Irving from Tales Of Symphonia for the hell of it.
The Bastion is broken. It turns Thresher Maws into target practice. It makes Saren hilariously easy to beat. It's a fun class to play.
I like to bring along someone else with Stasis when I fight Thresher Maws while playing a Bastion. That way, I can lock them down while my own Stasis cools down, allowing for a permanent state of Stasis.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Ugh, the Leviathan planet was a nightmare on Insanity for my Sentinel and Engineer.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Oh awesome, I chose wisely then!
I usually take on Thresher Maws in the Mako. I do think its kidna suicide to fight them on footbut now I think about it...I'll do exactly that two years later down the line to pffft
Good thing I had a Soldier with Flare and Particle Rifle note FLARES ALL DAY. 1812 OVERTURE WITH BIOTIC CANNONS.
- Kaidan: Shepard, the biotic Flare is not a musical instrument.
- Shepard: Yes it is I'm going to throw 21 of them with Aria's help.
- Kaidan: Shepard, no.
- Shepard: Shepard yes. SHEPARD ALWAYS YES.

Peter Moore recently said that EA has absolutely no interest in Remasters or Remakes and that they will not pursue that market. He said that their philosophy is about moving forward rather than looking back.
So, for anyone holding out on Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster for next gen you're out of luck.
ShaaaaEAaaaame
I don't even need updated graphics (well... It would be nice if the female uniforms in ME 1 didn't look terrible but) I just want the gameplay to be consistent.
Why won't you give me this, EA?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Changing the gameplay of any of the games to another's would call for essentially overhauling the entire system, which would be a remaster. Although... I'd definitely replay ME1 more if it had 3's gameplay. That game had an awesome story, the gameplay just felt so clunky a lot of the time.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.I understand it would be expensive, and not sell well, but come ooooon. Do a girl a favour, EA.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yeah. Maybe even reimplement some dummied out stuff for it.
I'm usually just tempted to skip the first game, so I wouldn't mind 2/3's gameplay. The last time I played the trilogy back to back, the transition between 1 and 2 was so disorienting, it took me a while just to get to grips with it again. There's not nearly as much of it going from 2 to 3.
"Liar liar on the wall, give the world to me..."ME 1 and 2 swap buttons around and 2 swaps out the weapon cooldown system for conventional ammo clips heat sinks, takes out the Mako vehicle bits (the DLC vehicle bits are better done) and lowers the number of stuff you have to level up.
Re-doing with the Bring Down The Sky mission with Lloyd Shepard. Wow, this expansion has some good music.
BTW anyone know what the "HARAK! CHEKT! CHEKT!" shit is all about when you first see the batarians?

They sounded like names to me actually.
"Liar liar on the wall, give the world to me..."Makes sense.
Hey, remember that one prototype pic of the Batarians you'dget int eh codex before D Ling BDTS?
I remember getting a pic, but it looked the same as the other Batarians in that game.
I personally would suggest to leave Citadel for the very last mission before the endgame. You are ready, just going to fix the ship up, and unwind before the storm.
