Needs Help: Elemental Punch

Its not terrible, but its lack of colour does make it a bit reliant on the text. A few suggestions?

Incidentally, the third one has been suggested in another thread, so there'll be less work of having to resize and reupload the pic if we decide to run with it.

Prefer 2.1, as one can see he's "armed" his fists with fire so that he can attack.

The others, he's either just swinging his flaming fists with no indication that it's supposed to be an attack (doesn't help his facial expressions imply he's showing off), he's holding them in place (with no indication that he punched) or, in the case of 3.1, is of poor quality.

I like 1.1 the best so far. Partially because, well, you don't see an elemental punch in water form very often. And it's clearly an attack, he's SHORYUKEN-ing like a mo-fo there.

1.1 is by far the best one. It's not just posing with flaming hands. It's executing a water uppercut.

3.1 also works, but is a little less clear.

If it weren't guilty of being another "punching with fire" image, I'd suggest this certain memetic punching technique which produces flames in the shape of a falcon◊.

It's not bad (probably third best so far), but maybe a little busy looking, what with all light effects.

It's also already being used on the Memes.Super Smash Bros thread, so it can't be used anyway.

Another vote for 1.1. Most of the others could be mistaken for someone gathering fire/energy in preparation for a hand blast.

I can go for both 1.1 and those in 2.

I know this is fanart but I think this image by Kelly1412 would be an excellent choice as you can see the motion and that it is clearly just a kick with an elemental upgrade; as opposed to say, the beginnings of someone about to launch fireball.

I think I'll throw in another vote for 1.1. It's the most illustrative, and actually shows the punch being used as an attack, rather than just for show.

A couple of other possibilities, for completeness if nothing else:

Marvel's Iron Fist is an obvious candidate,◊ and there are plenty of pictures aside from that one.

DC's Captain Marvel occasionally demonstrates the concept, and these pictures suggest just how powerful the results can be.◊

Another vote or two for 1.1 and we can run with it.
