I'm not the only one who thinks Mega Salamence looks really silly, am I? Ah well. Considering it isn't doing too well for itself right now, a boost's a boost, and now it has a good move to use its Flying type with in Aerilate Return.

... Brendan looks weird without his hat.

Mega Lopunny... wouldn't that imply they're expanding the Hoenn dex past just the new evolutions of G3 mons?

I wouldn't be entirely certain about that. Dragon is still a better alternative STAB than Bug even with fairies, and Salamence has more versatility than Pinsir does since it has a great special attack stat and a good movepool to use it with.

That being said, Pinsir and Salamence really aren't that comparable despite both being sweeprs with Aerilate. Salamence's biggest problem was competition with Megazard X, and with its Mega Evo it might finally get that edge that allows it to differentiate itself.

Mega Salamence gets his attack power quadrupled, but his ability makes it impossible for him to use damage inflicting moves.

And Salamence continues to look entirely stupid.

Can't say I'm too fond of the other two, either. Megaltaria doesn't look terrible, but is just a weaker design than standard because it just seems like they chopped up the cloud and glued it back on haphazardly, ruining the wholeness and elegant simplicity of the design. And Lopunny just went in an entirely different direction. With random things sticking out everywhere.

Although. Is that fur pattern supposed to imply she's wearing a torn pantyhose and a tank top or something?

I don't care what anyone says. They can all keep hateing on my fabulous bird dragon and my... rocket-nyoom-missile-whatever dragon.
