A robot killed my father, burned down my village and stole my girlfriend. I hate robots.
This probably is a bad moment to mention I'm a robot.
That's fine. You're a credit to your awful species.
You're one of the good ones the good one.

I have proof that treating robots like people will only lead to a bad future. That proof is called Power Rangers RPM
Checkmate.

Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?I really don't care for the helmets
The only two that are sort of identifiable as dinosaurs are the red and pink. The others I can't even tell you what the helmet is supposed to be.
I'm just so happy they're not in spandex. ^.^
I, uh, I've never cared much for spandex costumes. Or secret identities. I'm a bad superhero fan.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Dr. K would be so proud, or whatever her equivalent is.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I don't care what she says, those costumes are too spandex.
May I ask why?
i just think spandex looks ridiculous and silly for a character primarily defined by violence.
Like, writers can come up with excuses until the cows come home for why it's okay to get in explosive super-fights while wearing spandex but at the end of the day, it will never not be a look that screams, "I'm doing yoga stretches and preparing for tai bo!" rather than "I am a virtuous champion of justice and you should totally take me seriously, but not too seriously like those grimdark assholes."
Spandex is not now, nor has it ever been, a respectable material for making combat gear.

Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Speaking of different takes on the show, for some reason I remember this one Power Rangers series where the Earth got destroyed and the human race relocated to a new planet, and this other one where two of the members on the team were a married couple. Does any of that sound accurate?
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)The former could be Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, except the Earth wasn't destroyed. The later would be Power Rangers Mystic Force. And the husband was evil for a good chunk of the series.
(V)(;,,;)(V)You know assuming they choose to adapt other seasons, this may be the first superhero franchise were the government having it's own superheroes is treated as a good thing.
Until it turns out that the government is controlled by Lord Zedd or something.
(V)(;,,;)(V)Eh, I just can't see them going that route.
It's also just about the only superhero franchise where the good guys are the ones using conventional (if stylized) weapons, and regularly summoning giant robots in which to fight the villains.
I don't really mind the spandex, and I think in this case the secret identities serve mostly to thematically separate the fantastic fights from the mundane matters. Ranger suits are uniforms, not masks. To me, the whole thing is like a lighthearted high-tech technicolor version of a counter-terrorism unit... which is pretty awesome. (I wonder if there's a CS mod to that effect.)
From what I see on the posters, the suits manage to look both colorful and badass - going for metal rather than leather is a great choice in that regard, as painted steel is just about the only material that keeps looking scary even in hot pink. All in all, great job.

Yeah, the suits look awesome so far. I'm more worried about how they will look in motion.
Don't Expect to See the Original Rangers in the Power Rangers Movie

I at least wanted a Jason cameo, but maybe they saw Ghostbusters and went "Let's not do that."
To be honest, most of the actors(bar one not alive) couldn't really play the role all that well due to how much they've aged. There's a reason Jason David Frank barely shows up in PR nowadays. It'd have been neat to have cameos/the same actors play other characters, like they did with Ghostbusters 2016, though.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
Does anyone think the lips molded onto the helmet look kind of dumb? I know several seasons of the show did that but it still looks stupid.
